Chapter I

"CHERITZ"

Upbeat music followed soon after the company name was cheerfully announced.

A phone brightly illuminating a giddy young lady's face. The phone was the only source of light in the dark room. She was moving her legs along to the beat, and she had a giant grin on her face. She had gotten Ray's good ending earlier, and she was ecstatic to see his after ending.

Her face seemed to dim down once she realized there was no after ending. She was staring at the screen in disbelief.

"Come on~ They said it was going to be released soon! And (F/N) told me that was going to be today!" The female frowned while flopping on the bed.

(F/N) worked at Cheritz. He had told her that the after ending was going to be released today at 12:00 am.

Soon (y/n) got over her momentary grief and sent a text to (f/n).

"Yoooo are you awake? Ray's after ending is not here（πーπ) "
"You lieddd to meeeee >;((("
"Hello??? Are you tHeReEeE?? O.o"

The female begrudgingly put her phone down as she realized the male was probably sleeping. He had been working really hard these past few days not getting sleep, which is why she believed him.

'Still, he wouldn't lie to me. He's not like that'

(Y/n) was very, very confused now. Specially when she looked at the time again.

It was still 12:00 am.

"Huh?? I could've sworn that- more than a minute has passed?" The female was starting to get a little worried.

She put her phone down and waited. She waited. She counted the seconds too. She knew this was ridiculous as there's no way time wouldn't be passing. After she counted five minutes had gone by, she checked her phone again.

12:00 am.

"OKAY WHAT! That's ridiculous! What am I going to do now way- have I gone crazybutnowayiwasfineafewminutesago-"
Her rambling got interrupted by a notification.

She had just realized how weird it was that she hadn't been getting notifications. Around this time is when the fan fiction writers are the most active, so it didn't make sense she was not getting notifications of books being updated. Not only that, she realized that the texts she sent to (f/n) had not been delivered! Her WiFi couldn't be the problem, she paid top notch so she could play her otome games without any difficulty.

She was taken out of her thoughts by a notification. Again.

She decided to check her phone and see what was giving her a notification.

It seemed it was Mystic Messenger that had sent a notification. A chat room.

"That's weird? I didn't choose a route." (Y/n) mumbled. Nevertheless, she clicked on it.

Chat room: You need help?

Xx_god_xX: Hey! You okay there bud?
....hello? Why aren't you answering your texts!

(Y/n): uuuuh this is not part of the game- and how come I can actually type! Instead of options being shown??? What is going on! Answer!

Xx_god_xX: Woah woah- careful there! Relax. You wouldn't want to anger god now would you?

(Y/n): hah yeah 'god'. You're probably some hacker that's messing with me.

Xx_god_xX: you could say that. But don't you think it's strange how time is not running?
Aren't you curious about that?
If you stop talking to me, it will stay like that forever. Do you want that?

(Y/n): ...

Xx_god_xX: I'm going to take that as a no. So as to explain what is going on. I am not really a 'god'. If anything I am a god of the video game realm! Not yours! Though you see.... the higher being in your world owed me a favor... so I got to use my powers in this world! You see though, I accidentally made a mistake! I wasn't used to my powers being this strong hehe....
so here you are stuck in time. With no way to get out.

(Y/n): What do you mean no way?! What! That's crazy!

Xx_god_xX: look out your window.

When you did, it was pitch black outside. Not because of the night, but it seemed as if nothing was there. Just a void.

Xx_god_xX: believe me now?

(Y/n): How am I supposed to get out of here!?

Xx_god_xX: you can't. Sorry bud, tough luck.

(Y/n): y-you can't be serious?

Xx_god_xX: 100% am serious. I'm not heartless, I do feel this is somewhat my responsibility... so! I will send you to another world! So you can live your life happily there! And it seems you really like this game, so that's why I'm sending you there!

(Y/n): wha-

You didn't get to finish what you were typing as your phone started glowing a bright white, you had to close your eyes.

The light soon enveloped you and your whole room.

I hope you guys liked it! I have had this idea for a while! I know I have many other incomplete books but I'll finish them some day!! Also- this god is not really a god? He's like a really powerful being, which can be seen as a god. His title is only valid in fictional worlds though. Specially video games. You see, the world you were in was a book- fictional, and he somehow managed to convince that god to wreck havoc for a bit- he accidentally wrecked too much. But that will be talked about later!
