he was more the sporty type. he never came to the library. mark played basketball, liked to run, to train, to work out, o sweat... things like reading, writing and working weren't his cup of tea.

"mark?" a voice called his name making him turn around, and boy, he was shocked.

the girl in front of him looked absolutely beautiful. her long brown hair was tied in a ponytail, leaving her bangs covering her forehead though, she had a slight bit of make up on, a bright smile, and the school's uniform just looked perfect on her.

"h-hina?" mark stuttered.

"what are you doing here? it's lunch time. you should be eating." she said, picking a book from the shelf just next to mark.

"huh... you should too." mark pointed out, making hina chuckle.

"i brought my lunch with me. i'll eat in the school garden afterwards." she said with a smile.

"oh..."

"never thought i would find you in the library though." she added, picking another book up. "what are you looking for?"

"i... don't know." mark replied honestly. "i forgot."

"memory of a goldfish... that's my mark!" she laughed, ruffling the boy's hair and making him blush. "well... when you'll have finished with whatever you forgot..." she started again. "mind sharing a meal with me in the school garden?" she asked.

mark blushed more. "o-okay."

"good! see you!" she said, turning around and leaving mark alone in the history alley.

he wouldn't mind coming to the library everyday if it meant he could see hina more often.

^.^

"are you okay mark? i don't want you to crash the car into a wall..." jaemin told, looking at mark worriedly.

"yeah, you look... weird." jeno added, from the backseat.

"something amazing happened to me today..." mark responded dreamily, eyes on the road.

the three boys were in mark's car, heading to mark and renjun's shared house, ready to watch the baseball tournament. however, jaemin and jeno were worried because of the state mark was in. he seemed very... distant.

"what?" jaemin exchanged a look with his boyfriend.

"i met hina at the library..."

"you were at the library?" jeno laughed. "why would you be at the library?"

mark hummed. "i had a feeling."

"and? tell us what happened!" jaemin tapped mark's shoulder.

"hina happened."

"she kissed you?" jaemin furrowed his brows.

mark slammed on the brake because of the shock, causing jeno to get strangled by his seatbelt and jaemin to hit his head on the dashboard.

"ouch! mark!"

"are you crazy! saying such things!" mark started the car again. "we didn't kiss. she just ruffled my hair and invited me to have lunch with her in the garden."

"oh. nothing then..." jeno sat back comfortably.

"nothing?! it's a big progress!" mark looked at him in the mirror.

"yeah, seeing your speed, you'll get married around seventy..."

"well, it's better than you gays who will never be able to get married in such a narrowminded country."mark snorted.

"as if we were going to stay here forever." jaemin chuckled.

"out of the car!" mark yelled once he had parked his car inside his property.

the three friends walked to the door, bickering about marriage until mark pulled out the house keys from his pocket. he inserted them inside the lock and twisted them to unlock it, opening the door just after. and it's at that moment mark remembered why he went to the library: to search information about hybrids.

and, yeah, let's say mark realised he was in a big trouble right now.
