"...Kannabi Bridge. Get ready to teleport."
Kannabi Bridge! That's where his students were. Well, he supposed he had to go help out, considering the large amount of people who planned to go there. Were his students really that strong, so it required this number of people? Minato nodded in approval. Good for them.
Minato clicked his tongue when he realized that must've been what the red flare he saw earlier was. He quickly identified one of the people in the group as someone he had marked previously. As soon as they teleported, Minato was only a step behind them.
He had teleported near the forest. He blinked in surprise when he saw his student handling someone a couple years older then him. He took a double take when he realized that student was Obito, and that he had awakened the Sharingan.
He had most certainly noticed Obito's change over the past week. However, he brushed it off, saying it was simply just the boy maturing. Nothing seemed to indicate that he was another person henged to be Obito. Plus, why would anyone want to transform into Obito? He had the Uchiha clan head looking over him as well as the Yellow Flash as his sensei. Turning into him would be a mistake for the enemy.
He turned his attention back to the fight in front of him. Obito seemed to be taunting his enemy, as he would jump on top of the rocks thrown his way instead of simply dodging and throwing a kunai his way.
Minato's eyes narrowed as he observed Obito's fighting style. It seemed to be an old Uchiha fighting style, with dirtier methods instead of the showy method Uchihas use now. This was style Uchihas would use in the Warring States Period to cause more damage to their opponent. Instead of a high-kick, Obito would opt to slash his opponent with his katana. Instead of dodging with a backflip, he would simply step to the side before attacking again.
Minato blinked again. Well, there was a time to worry about that, and it wasn't now. They were in the middle of a war. He dropped down from the tree he had climbed into and aimed a kunai at the back of the shinobi's head.
He saw Obito smirk before Minato teleported behind the shinobi, smiling at his student. Blood had soaked Obito's face and hands, but he looked to be fine. They exchanged a few words and Minato gave the boy orders, before he bowed and ran off.
Minato rubbed the back of his head before fishing his kunai out of his enemy's corpse. Obito had really changed, huh?
===============
Izuna ran up and tugged the back of Kakashi's shirt, pulling him away from his opponent. He had turned and glared, an air of confusion around him before Minato teleported in front of him. His face turned into one of understanding as he ran beside Izuna. They had met up with Rin while Izuna explained Minato's orders.
Kakashi listened quietly before barking out his own orders. "Rin, start on the far end of the bridge and focus on fixing the explosives. Obito, head to the middle and work there. I'll take the end closest to here. Got it?"
"Hai." Izuna replied, several bombs already in his hand. They both turned to Rin, who nodded slightly, still avoiding eye-contact with Kakashi.
Kakashi stiffened and turned his gaze to the bridge. Izuna glanced curiously between them before shunshing away. Rin wasn't far behind, teleporting to the end of the bridge only a few seconds after.
Kakashi ran to his end of the bridge. He trusted his sensei enough, so he simply pushed the ninja out of the way instead of completely incapacitating them like he normally would. As Kakashi expected, Minato had his back, slashing at the shinobi's legs and arms if they started to follow him.
