"Fine," Kakashi panted. "You?"

"I'm okay," Izuna replied, sitting down next to them to take a break. "Rin, what about you?"

"I'm not fine!" She cried. "I'm constantly worrying over you two! Kakashi, Minato-sensei told you not to use that jutsu! It's too unpredictable and-!"

"Minato-sensei's not here right now," Kakashi replied. "And I'm okay. Let's get going."

Izuna nodded. "Come on, Rin." He grabbed her by the hand and pulled her up.

"Rin!" Kakashi cried, seeing an Iwa nin sneak up behind her. "Behind you!" He shouted, before dodging a kick from his opponent.

"Huh?" she turned around quickly. An ninja was creeping up behind her and quickly grabbed her arm. He was about to shunshin before Izuna managed to throw his kunai, which hit the arm that was holding the girl.

Rin came back to her senses quickly and pulled out her own kunai. She stabbed him in the foot and managed to run away.

Izuna turned back to his own battle, realizing she was alright. His eyes widened as he saw a rather large fireball heading his way. He managed to dodge it, but not before it grazed his side, burning his right arm and leg.

He hissed and retailed with a fireball of his own, which managed to engulf two shinobi. He watched them burn with a smile of satisfaction on his face, and turned to meet up with his team.

Rin had killed the shinobi who had attempted to kidnap her, as well has his accomplice. She had reached Kakashi, and was slowly healing his wounds. Izuna ran up to them. 

"Ah!" Rin gasped at the sight of his wounds. She diverted her attention from Kakashi and worked on his burns.

A few minutes went by. "Rin, are you almost done?"

"Yeah, just give me a few more seconds," she rolled up her sleeves and popped a soldier pill into her mouth. "Alright, it's done."

"Good," Kakashi stood up. "We're almost at the bridge. Come on, we'll have to finish the mission. Obito..." Kakashi grimaced. "Good job. You managed to save Rin from getting kidnapped. You too, Rin. Now let's go."

"So this is the bridge..." Rin stared in awe, looking at the bridge from their hiding spot in the trees. 

Izuna nodded. The Shinobi world had come a long way since he had died. 

Kakashi placed a finger on his lips, signaling for them to be quiet. He pointed to the guards at the foot of the bridge. 

They nodded. The team would have to take them out before they were able to access the bridge. 

They took out their weapons. Izuna smirked when he saw Kakashi using the blades he gave to him a few hours earlier. 

"What?" Rin mouthed to him. 

Izuna grinned and pointed to Kakashi, who glanced down at his weapons and scowled slightly. "Shut up," He muttered.

"I'm not saying anything." he replied, a smug grin plastered on his face. Rin giggled and lightly tapped both of them on their back. "Ready you guys?"
