SUMMARY
If you're a fan of Brian McBride's Love and the Sea and everything in Between and Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Sunflower, then Here Comes the Sun is the perfect read for you.
Sometimes it's okay not to be okay - Amanda, Author of Here Comes the Sun
Elle Grayson was supposed to be the hero, but no one knows what heroes really face.
Here Comes the Sun (current work)
A debut where it strings readers into the atmosphere of the story. A story that describes the truth while hinting at love and healing.
Elle Grayson is 16, unlike many teenagers, goes through rounds of chemo to keep her moving. She doesn't let that drag her down. She lives life to the fullest and uses her artwork to express how she feels. She sees life as the sun. If you look into the sun it blinds you. You can't see the sun, just like you can't see the future.
Flynn Lee struggles with life. He is left in his own fears and misery after the death of his brother. When he meets Elle, it's like his whole life turned around.
Can he trust her enough for the truth to shine? Or will he feel alone all over again?
Sometimes it only takes one chance encounter for everything to change. For Flynn, that happens when he meets Elle. Sometimes the best way to see yourself -- and the world -- in a new light is to let others see you first.
AUTHOR'S NOTE
Dear readers,
Thank you for giving my novel a chance. This novel have been planned, brainstormed, outlined so many times over the past two years that I'm happy that I'm finally able to write it and share with you all. The reason why I am writing this novel is because I have lost a friend due to texting and driving. I want to spread the awareness not to text and drive.
I hope you will fall in love with all my characters.
I hope yall enjoy!
- Amanda
