I sat at the table picking at my pork chop. It had been five minutes but it felt like five hours. With Will's and Alice's failed attempts at starting conversation May still angry about the incident earlier in the day and Adam still not even looking at me.
"Soo.. How did you sleep?' Alice asked me.
"Oh! Um good." I responded. Man this was more awkward then that time my uncle wore that lady gaga shirt to our Christmas dinner!
About five more minutes went by of this until I cracked.
"Okay! Listen! May I'm sorry about your crop! And Adam whats up with you did I do something wrong!?" Another long awkward pause happend until may stood up and quietly said
"Adam can I talk to you in the hallway please?" They came back a few minutes later Adam looked quite annoyed with May but still would not talk to me although he did seem to smile at me a lot more!
May apologized for acting so cold and but said if it ever happened again she would throttle me. The rest of the dinner went much better and we had a better conversation but Adam still did not talk to me!
Later that night May and I talked the for hours in end! I think I can say that we are truly bestfriends!
