Shapy can be a bit hesitant or quick to thinking, making up strange ideas like the boomerang idea in Something Along the Lines of a Rainy Day. From that we can also infer that he is a little dim-witted, sometimes leading to him not using his ability in the most useful way. So far in the series, Shapy seems like a friendly character.
