Chapter 15~Is Preeta in danger?

Preeta's POV

I go to Mahesh uncle's room and sit next to him

"Uncle, please get up! So much is happening, I am sure all this would have never happened, if you were with us! Sherlyn, is ruining the family, I know the whole truth, yet I can't expose her, and Mahira, I don't understand if she is a good person, or what!
Karan lost his memory, he doesn't remember about recent things, our lost friendship is back! But today was supposed to be his engagement, I can't see him with anyone else uncle! He is my husband, and because he doesn't know about it, he can get ready to marry Mahira! But he rejected it, I want to know who is that girl, with whom he wants to get married!" I say but stop as maa enters

"Preeta!" She called in a soft voice

"Maa, why is all this happening, how can I make Karan realise that he is already married to me, and what if he marries Mahira!" I say crying

"Nahi beta! I will not let that happen, you don't worry, I will never accept anyone else as my daughter in law for Karan! That right is only yours beta. Now go and take rest!"

"Thank you so much maa! And where is Karan?"

"I forgot to tell you, but he went out of town for 3 days, for his match!"

"He didn't inform me?"

"He said, he will call and inform, because he was in a hurry....!"

"Okay maa!" I say and go to my room

"This idiot can't take care of himself also!" I say cleaning the room and keeping he clothes in the cupboard

Till then my phone rang, I saw the ID and it was Karan

"Hello!"

"Hello, why didn't you answer my call before?"

"Woh, ac-actually, I was doing something!"

"What?"

"Haan, I was keeping the clothes in the wardrobe!"

"That is more important than me?"

"Karan, what is wrong with you? Why do you keep on comparing yourself with things and people!"

"Be-because!.....umm! Forget it!"

"Yeah, Rishabh ji is more important to you than me? Now wardrobe! God Karan, thank god, I understand you, so I bear you, or else...."

"Or else?"

"Or else, whoever your wife will be, I don't know how she will bear you!"

"You can bear me na, then you only become mine!" He said in a smirking tone

"Omg! Karan, tum kabhi nahi sudhroge!"

"You are there na for that!"

"Oh god! Now tell me why did you call me?"

"Because, today is the only day, I can confess my feelings for you! I can't keep my feelings to myself anymore!" He said making me widen my eyes....

A smile crept on my face, thinking about him!

But to my bad luck, the call got disconnected as there was no charge!

"Ughh! This call had to get disconnected now only? I will go and charge, he will call again!"

Karan's POV

"Oh god Preeta! Why did the call get cut!?" I said trying to call again and again

"Ughh! Why is it switched off? Preeta pleasee answerr!" I say throwing my phone on the bed

"Today was the right time to tell you my feelings! I wanted to tell you what you mean to me, and that, how special you are to me!"

Author's POV

"Karan, no matter how you are with the whole world, I still love you! Tum jaise bhi ho, bahut acche ho!" Preeta said dreaming about Karan

"Babydoll, I don't care who likes you or not, I love you! Tum jaisi ho, bahut zyada acchi ho!" Karan said the other side thinking about Preeta!

I was just thinking about him as I brushed my hands over his picture kept next to me on the side table

"Preeta, come, it's lunch time!" Maa called out and finally I came back to reality

"Coming maa!" I say and go down to have lunch!

Mahira's POV

"Sherlyn, we have to do something! This Preeta, she is slowly taking place in Karan's life! And now Karan rejected the engagement also."

"Maahira, now he will not marry you!" Sherlyn said making me shocked

"What are you blabbering!? Stop it, enough!"

"Ayy! Don't talk to me like this! First listen to me."

"Umm, say!"

"You will have to get married to him by mistake! On the marriage day, I will exchange the bride's, you sit in place of Preeta! I will take care of her, you get marry to Karan!"

"Will it work?"

"Sherlyn Khurrana's plans always work!"

"That's why, last time it didn't na!" I thought to myself

"But what about engagement? He will get engaged to Preeta!"

"Let that happen! Marriage is the most important thing! Don't worry, Karan is only yours!"

"Yes! That Preeta has to be out of his life forever!"

"And now, Karan is not there to protect her, he is out for 3 days, so we can do anything to Preeta!"

"Yes! I totally didn't remember, finally she will be out of his life!"

Then Sherlyn said her plan to me, and tomorrow it had to be executed! I am sure this will work!
