Shinso POV
I hate my family, I lost count of how many times I've run away. Today I ended up at a unfamiliar park. Sitting on a swing I cried, muffled sounds escaped my mouth when a voice spoke to me. "why are you crying?" I look up to see a tiny sunflower staring at me he looked 6 or 7 same age as me. He held a stuffed Pikachu with is big round eyes looking deep into mine. "go away it has nothing to do with you." I spat at him "why are you alone?" he asked another question. "can't you see? I ran away." I started getting annoyed with this yelling boy in front of me. I got off the swing and started walking away. "so what do you want to do?" I paused, did he just ask what I wanted to do? No one's asked that before let alone wanting to make friends with me. Still in my tracks I turned around to face him. I chewed my bottom lip not knowing how to answer. "I know, why don't we play hero! Like in the story books!" he smiled brightly *thump* my heart quickened and my cheeks flushed. I had a sudden urge to bite this sweet smelling little flower. I held it back as he dragged me away to go play hero.
Hours passed and for the first time I had fun, I was smiling, I felt warm. But of course the good things never last longe my bodyguards showed up and I had to leave. Just about to walk away I was hugged from behind, I froze as my cheeks rose to a red shade. I turned around, he was crying "I.. I don't want you to leave!" he sniffled. My chest hurts for some reason. I grabbed something out of my pocket and gave it to him "we will meet again I promise you" he looked at me and shoved his Pikachu into my arms "so.. So you don't forget me.." he looked away blushing. I smiled and walked to the car leaving the boy with a little purple ribbon that had a cat charm attached to it. Driving off I realized... I never asked his name.
