Muggle au, your basic coffee shop

Sirius leaned his head on the palm of his hand and watched the snowfall outside the cafe's walls. He worked at a small cafe that was more on the modern side though It was always warm and cozy inside. His co-worker Lily Evans, who he's made great friends with over the 6 months he's worked at the small place, decided to give the place a more cozy feel. Soft fairy draped from the ceiling, four 2 seater tables were placed near the windows and the rest of the shop had small sofas crowding around each other.
The bell chimed when the door opened and Sirius looked up to see a tall boy with tawny-colored hair and soft amber eyes. Sirius suddenly felt attracted to this boy for a reason he couldn't exactly explain.
"Hello, fellow gay. Can I get a small hot chocolate with whipped cream?" The boy asked. His eyes glanced down to Sirius' name tag that read his name, but at the bottom, in parenthesis, it read 'but also gayer than gay'. He smiled at the name tag.
Sirius blushed lightly. "U-uh yeah, okay. "
Just then, much to Sirius' pleasure, Lily walked out from the back and over to the coffee machine. "Sirius stop being such an ass just 'cause he's cute," She said amused, winking at Remus.
Sirius blushed a darker shade of red and glared at her before going to work on the guy's hot chocolate. Lily smirked and walked out from behind the counter. "Hey, Remus. Aren't you supposed to be at the book shop still?"
Remus continued to watch Sirius before snapping out of his gaze and looking at her. "Er, Maria said the shop was closing early today since it's Christmas Eve. I did end up buying a few books, they're in the car."
Lily squealed. "Did you get me the new book I've been talking about?"
Remus grinned and flicked her on the forehead. "You'll have to wait till tomorrow Red."
Lily huffed rolled her eyes. "Anyway, remember I told you about the 2 boys coming over tomorrow?" Remus nodded. "Well that clutz over there is one of them and his friend James is coming over too."
Sirius perked up at the mention of tomorrow. "By friend you meant this hot guy?" He asked bemused, eyes widening. Remus chuckled. "I must say I'm far from the title 'hot guy' but you seem like a guy that it could fit instead."
Sirius pursed his lips and slid the hot chocolate in a to-go cup over to Remus who handed him a 5 dollar bill. Remus took a sip and moaned as the hot and sweet liquid slid with ease down his throat. (I see you, you dirty-minded cabbage)
Sirius grinned in response to Remus' reaction to the hot chocolate. "Alright, you love birds, flirt all you want tomorrow. It's closing time," Lily said. She didn't exactly want to break the moment because she obviously ships it but Sarah, their manager, has a fit if the shop isn't closed up by exactly 5 pm. Sirius thought of her like a bitch. She did have the annoying sassy attitude but Lily would never agree to his accusation of her even if she deeply agreed with him.

Remus ran down the stairs dressed in a dark red jumper and a pair of jeans he found on the floor. Don't judge. He ran a hand through his hair and started making hot chocolate.
A few minutes later Lily came downstairs in a flowy light blue tee shirt with snowflakes on the sleeves and a pair of jean shorts. "Rem it's only 8 am and you're already making hot chocolate," she stated and rolled her eyes. Remus grinned and mixed the drink and took a sip. "Could never have enough hot chocolate."
Lily smiled back and walked into the living room, sitting on the couch and pulled her legs up under her. "So when are Sirius and James getting here?" He asked, walking over and sitting on the couch next to her. "Should be here in 10 minutes. In the meanwhile, tell me. Do you got the hots for Sirius?" She smirked.
Remus rolled his eyes. "Just 'cause I'm gay doesn't mean I like every guy." After a moment of Lily raising an eyebrow at him, he said: "But yeah, probably."
Lily scrunched up her nose. "Operation Wolfstar is in progress.
"Oh yeah? Operation Jily is in progress."

As Lily said, Sirius and James showed up a few minutes later with a knock on the door.
"Hullo you two," Lily said happily and gave them hugs. James stood mouth agape after pulling away from the hug. Sirius grinned and nudged him in the ribs. He snapped out of his daze and clear his throat. "Right- uh-"
Lily just smiled and stepped aside so they could walk in.
