Chapter 4: Training Day

"Naoko, Naoko wake up! We're gonna be late for school!!"

"I was up way before you, I've just been closing my eyes."

"Get up!!"

"Aight, aight, I'm up. Ugh, I hate getting up at 6:00."

"Same here, deal with it."

"Don't forget that you're the one who woke me up."

"I thought you said you were already up? Get your uniform and get dressed."

After getting dressed Adi and I cleaned up the dorm and headed out the door. Heading to class I saw Ms. Midnight and Hawks again.

"Hello, Naoko," said Midnight cheerfully.

"Hey, nugget," Hawks smirked at me.

"Hey Midnight, hey Happy Meal," I replied blankly.

"Nice to see you again, nugget."

"Can't say the same. Midnight, may I have a word with you?"

"Sure. Is this about what we spoke about yesterday?"

"Yes, and I've made my decision."

"Well?" replied Midnight with curiosity while Hawks and Adriana listened in.

"I'm not gonna tell them. It's too risky."

"Are you sure?"

"I know what I'm doing. The less people know, the better."

"Hey, nugget, don't forget about training later."

"How could I possibly forget?"

"And I'm still gonna supervise your class."

"Is that supposed to intimidate me?"

"Um, Naoko, what's happening?" Asked Adriana.

"I'll explain later, Adi."

"Okay, for now let's get to class."

"Yep, before Aizawa scolds us. See you two in class."

"Bye, Naoko! Bye Adi!" Exclaimed Midnight.

"See you, nugget," Hawks whispered in my ear while I passed by.

I looked back at him, seeing his cocky smirk. I rolled my eyes and smiled, catching up to Adi. After walking into class, Adriana and I sat down in our designated seats.

"Class, today we will be training. Your costumes are ready, please take them and change," Aizawa said with a face that just said he couldn't be more fed up.

As Midnight handed the class their suitcases with their costumes, Adriana and I were wondering what kind of training we were going to experience.

"I wonder if we're gonna do hand to hand combat," Adi marveled.

"I really need practice with any kind of training, but hand to hand combat I find the best though."

"I can't wait to see your costume, Naoko. You're a great costume designer."

"I can't wait to see yours! You make good costumes too, yours is gonna be spectacular!"

"I mean, I can't disagree with that!"

"Haha! Ooh, our costumes! Thank you Midnight!"

"Of course, Naoko! In my opinion, you and Adriana made the best costumes!" Midnight winked.

"Ooh, you hear that Adriana! Now I definitely can't wait to see yours!"

We grab our somewhat heavy, metallic suitcases and head to the girls locker room.
