Deep within a cavernous gape, a realm usurped only by the formless Begetter, lied within those originals of the first Domain. This nothingness which entrapped them had a name, given by the only of the creators to retain themselves after it's conception. It's name...

-OBLIVION-

Assumed to be the creation of the concept of nothingness, those aware of it fear Oblivion to be complete and total erasure. A place where all who fall in will cease to be in every sense; Past, future, and present.

However, this is not the case. No, it is not quite that simple. It is true that Oblivion itself was a concept not of Begetter's design, but not total destruction. Such a thing goes against even the comatose creator's impulses.

What is it then? I answer this with a quote from it's creator who remained whole after the formation:

"Oblivion? Ah yes, that interesting void. But to call it that is not entirely accurate. No, it doesn't just destroy. Think of it like numbers. The Domain before, as well as the current one which exists now, are like the positives. Oblivion is the opposite, negatives." -Gabriel Ightren

Yes- Oblivion is not just pure destruction. Instead, it acts as a force adverse to the Domain. Though, it is not equal like you would think. It rapidly devoured nearly all that composed the original realms. Only 5 were able to avoid being consumed, one of which being broken into endless fragments, beyond full recovery.

It only ceases to devour the second Domain thanks to a defensive barrier which halts its progress. Created during Begetter's spontaneity, it acted as a "zero" to prevent the spread. It was not simply nothingness either, of course. Begetter's lack of will leaves it incapable of spawning such a concept.

Rather, the barrier is an entity all in itself. Locked within a sarcophagus of eternal material, lies the source of the defense. A being which holds every power, ability, and attribute to exist by Begetter's design. With its unfortunate non-consensual emplacement, Oblivion is stopped by the combined utilization of infinite powers acting in unison.

You might wonder if it will eventually be sated, due to the nature of negatives. This is where its greatest flaw lies- One which Gabriel intends to fix.

"Silence, you swine. I refuse to let that creation between my brother and I remain a shared effort. No, I will prove I have become superior by making it into something so much more!"
-Gabriel Ightren

Gabriel's intent is one that endangers more than just the Domain, no... It endangers creation itself. He works to make it into a true entity, not just a negative space. Something that can grow as it eats, like an empty flame.

A black flame, fire which could only ever be snuffed out by one truly omnipotent if let run free; And with Gabriel being the only of its creators to remain whole, only he could command it without repercussion.

"When I complete and tame my spawn, I will have no equal. My brother would never be able to pity me again, I would finally show them all I am not weak!" -Gabriel Ightren

It is because of this the Oblivion is feared by all who know the truth of its conception, as well as the secrets of its nature... Including myself.

It is with this I close this entry, a notably abrupt conclusion to some. This entity will be revisited in due time, of course; But I must go on for now.
