Chapter 5: One on One

"So Bj what's up with you and Seven?" Amari asked as he passed me the ball.

I lightly laughed as I started to rethink last nights events. "We just friends for now." I said as a shot a three

"So you like her?" Zaire asked

"I do like her I just don't want to mess things up with her like I did with Nikki." I said in one breath,?I saw Amari look at me through the corner or my eye "But she isn't like Nikki is she?" He asked

I cracked a small smile "No she isn't anything compared to her, I can't even describe her in one word man."

"You head over hills for this girl" Bronny said as he laughed

"Bonny shut up, didn't you tell Zaire you like Madison?" Amari said. I turned my head so fast to look at Bronny "I thought you didn't like dark skin girls?"

"I never said I didn't like dark skins, it's just that I prefer lighter shades of women." He stateside

"Pause isn't Madison a senior?" Ziaire asked

"So age ain't nothing but a number." Bronny said as he shrugged his shoulders

Seven

Me and the girls are currently at Madison's house having a sleepover. We started talking about everything down to our favorite foods and to our personal life.

"So do any of y'all like anyone?" I asked as I sat down on the pillow

"Well I have been talking to a certain somebody." Madison said while smiling

"Bitch who cause I know your stubborn ass didn't get a nigga and didn't tell me!" Amaiyh said while cocking her eyebrow up.

"That's besides the point who's the new guy?" Mariah asked

"Okay don't make a big deal about it, but his name is Terrence."

"Okay give us details." I said

"He plays basketball and he goes to Brewster academy."

"Okay what about you Mariah." Amaiyh said

"I guess you can say me and Zairie are in the talking stage." She said while smiling

"Awwww look at my friends getting all boo'd up and shit while my ass is sitting here lonely as hell." Amaiyh said while laughing which cause all of us to laugh

We were all watching a movie in the living room and eating snacks just enjoying each other's company when my phone went off

I smiled at his little message, mostly everyone we're close to thinks we're dating but really we're just vibing  with each other and still trying to figure each other out.

We've gotten to know each a lot more I found out that he actually loves animals a lot and that he's really only been in two serious relationships and that behind close doors he's goofy and a very big baby.

"Ouuu she texting Bj!" I heard Madison yell

"And how would you know?" I asked her

"Because every time you text him you start smiling like that." Ivy said while pointing at a smile that I still had on my face

"Whatever."
