So basically my mother and father wasn't able to had a good compensating job because of my grandparents influence. After my father died they took us in but it was already to late to save my sister.
She was already taken to Taiwan by Rei that time. All this time me and my mother are doing everything at all cost to find my sister without using my grandparents money. That is why I have a lot of part time jobs to help my mother with the funds.
The last time we checked, my sister us in Amsterdam with Rei and that was four months ago and now we don't have any idea where they are since they keep on country hopping from time to time.
Me and my mother decided to move to the neighborhood where we used to live so that when my sister gets back she will be able to find us immediately.
I passed the dark alley that was a short cut towards our corner. I usually use this way if I want to go home early. It is the shortest way home but this alley is also the darkest alley even in daylight but I got used to on going this way.
On the middle of the way two men wearing an all black outfits suddenly bumped into me. They pushed me to a wall while I was taken a back and no chance to respond by the sudden attack.
One of them suddenly hit me in the head with something hard that made my vision blurry. They began hitting me endlessly especially my knees and my legs. I could do nothing but shout and groan in pain while clutching the medal and certificate in my pocket.
"Do you feel the pain now? That is for beating me up earlier..." one person said as I tried to open up my eyes and look at the person in front of me. I remember him as the one whom I defeated earlier.
"We made sure to hit his knees critically, he may not be able to walk again." I heard the other one said as I groaned in pain because of the fatal hits on my knees.
"We'll continue to beat him up..." he instructed as the other two continued to hit me again. I groaned in pain when I felt that my legs were too numb and I can't feel it anymore.
"Hey what is that?" one man shouted while the three panicked and run away from him. I saw some lights then I don't remember anything after that, the next thing I knew is that I woke up in a room surrounded by the white color.
"Don't move... I will call a doctor to check in you..." my mother said as she stopped me from going up from my bed then pressing the button next to her.
My lips are dried and I could even barely utter a word. After a while a doctor came in with a few nurses that check on me. I wanted to ask them what happened but I was lost in words and barely could utter one.
They began lifting my feet but I can't feel a thing. "How do you feel Jungkook?" he said while checking on my eyes and head. "I... I don't feel my legs..." I said as he stopped on pointing lights in my eyes.
"Other than that?" he asked as I shake my head no to tell him none. "He'll have to undergo a month of therapy, he might not be able to stand up as of now. His bones in the knees had some damages but it will heal by itself after a therapy." he said to my mother that made my mind blank for a while.
"Can you give me a wheel chair? I want to spend time alone..." I said as the nurse nodded and prepared one for me. "But you are not well yet... You have to stay still in here." my mom said but she was stopped by the doctor.
"He needs time for himself as of now, every patient who went through his situation did feel the same. We'll help you up kid, get back here after you clear your mind or else your mom will be worried." he said as he tapped my shoulder before helping me sit in the wheelchair.
I slowly went outside the room but when I was already in the middle of the corridor I wanted to go faster so I pushed the wheels faster. But I suddenly stopped when a girl stopped me while signaling her hand on a stop sign and so I did.
She offered her hand for a hand shake that I hesitantly accepted. "Hi, I am Sana. I heard that you are the newly admitted in the private room above. They were right when they said that you were good looking." she said that made me frown.
"Jungkook..." I said introducing myself to her. "Know what? I've been staying here in hospital for more than half of my life. I have been in this hospital for about a year and this is the first time that I seen a patient around my age." she paused for a while before she continued.
"This an orthopedics, so basically patients here have bone problems. But I have a different case, I have leukemia. I am here because my bones need a bone marrow transplant. Scheduled by next month since my donor is here so I have to be here." she said as I looked up on her because she looks so cheerful despite her condition.
But her smile is so familiar to me. Her smile makes me remembered about my sister. Her smile is similar to my sister's smile. Especially their positive attitude towards life. Exactly my sister's trait just like my chocolate princess.
