Chapter 2: Obsession

- Afternoon // Agatsuma's house -

Zenitsu entered the door and was greeted by his gramps

Gramps: Oh! Zenitsu you're back. Dinner will be served soon so you shou- Zenitsu's gramps didn't get to finish his sentence and was staring at Zenitsu.

[Something is not right...] His gramps thought.

Zenitsu was acting weird. He was just standing there at the door, for like a minute now. Staring at the floor with his bangs covering his eyes.

His gramps was getting worried now at this point. He grabbed Zenitsu's shoulders and started shaking him, asking him what's wrong. His gramps was shocked once he saw a glimpse of Zenitsu's face.. Zenitsu's eyes lost all its color, he was smiling and giggling like some sort of a crazy person. Zenitsu looked at his gramps and muttered the words.. "Kill. I should kill them.."

Gramps: Oh no. This is bad..

ZENITSU! SNAP OUT OF IT! Gramps shouted at Zenitsu and slapped him as hard as he can, hoping to get him back to normal. Luckily, it worked!

Zenitsu: OWWWWWW-!! GRAMPS WHAT WAS THAT FOR ??!!

Eh? ...When did I get home...?

Gramps: Zenitsu... you don't remember huh ? (Sigh) It's coming back again.. that other personality of yours. You should really control that or else..

Zenitsu: ??? My other persona-- Zenitsu suddenly realized, and got scared when he remembered everything that happened in the past

In Zenitsu's mind, he suddenly remember what he did before

An image of his terrible past entered his mind..

And these words kept repeating inside his head...

"Monster.."

"I can't believe he did that.."

"That poor student.."

"Get out of this school already!"

"You monster.."

"Psychopath.."

Zenitsu: N-No... I don't want that...

Gramps: It'll be okay Zenitsu. You controlled it before, you can do it again. Just calm down, take deep breaths

Zenitsu took deep breaths and is now startig to calm down.

Gramps: You good now ? Go to your room and rest. I'll just ask Kaigaku to bring your food there

Zenitsu: Thanks gramps. But.. I'm not hungry anymore. I'll go to my room. Good night gramps.

Zenitsu suddenly felt some weight on his shoulders, it was Tanjirou, and he has his arms wrapped around Zenitsu's shoulders.

Zenitsu: [T-Too close...] Good morning Tanjirou

Tanjirou: Good morning!

Are you okay ?

Zenitsu: Eh? What do you mean? I'm alright

Tanjirou: Well you may appear fine on the outside but.. I can smell what you're actually feeling
