Background

The story takes place in the future, way in the future. As humans have colonized Mars and Jupiter, soon to colonize Mercury. As people moved to the outer planets, evolution took a different turn with people. New abilities started to appear on Mars and Jupiter as their bodies got used to their atmosphere. Some people were able to hold themselves high in the sky and some were able to tell what others were thinking, because as time progressed, more and more people got these abilities and some were better than others. On Earth though, it was rare for abilities to appear, so rare in fact that you could pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to get an ability from the doctors, as they had figured out the genetic code for it and gave it to you, but it didn't work all the time.
Thousands of years passed and nearly everyone on Mars and Jupiter had their abilities, some people started to look like actual aliens as their skin grew different shades of purple, their ears growing, hair disappearing, but it became normal quickly.
As more time passed, the people of Mercury and Jupiter became full on aliens, evolution had taken its toll on them and the people of Earth grew increasingly worried as they slowly lost connections with the neighboring planets. Some aliens from the other planets made trips back to Earth just to terrorize some, and it was causing a major disruption to the people of Earth, so a league of the strongest ability users was formed.
The leader, was called The Phoenix. As his ability was able to control fire and pull flames so powerful from the sun and use them against his opponents. The aliens didn't stand a chance against him, and he stood as the mighty protector of Earth for a long time, even as this story starts.
On Earth, schools for the kids with abilities began opening up. If you had an ability, you got in for free, but if you didn't, you'd have to pay a hefty fine. The school that our main character goes to is called Soaring Raven Academy, and it is one of the most elite school's out there, with the highest grading scores and the strongest kids competing for the role of "King" in school, but it was definitely, NOT easy sailing.
Nicky is our main character staring in this broken world, she is a relatively short black girl with curly black hair and blue streaks pulled back in a bun behind her head like a crown, her eyes are a deep diamond blue. The school uniform she wore was a button up top and a plaided skirt that went down just above her knees. The official uniform had a jacket and bag to go with it but she forgot those both frequently. The school colors on the uniform were silver and a deep ash black, with some blue in it, with leather dress shoes. She wants the perfect life with her all most too perfect boyfriend, but as she goes through a destiny that was never made for her, she discovers the hard way that reality isn't all that pretty. She is a smart, talented and clever girl, with a big heart that she gives to the wrong people. She is 16 and 5'6', kinda chubby but adorable.
Theol is a man of action. Getting in fights constantly for dumb reasons he seems to justify. He has long, apple red hair with blood red eyes that show a fire deep within. He doesn't go to school even though he's supposed to for his age but instead, he hides in the alleys like a street rat. He normally wore casual wear, a large plain red hoodie with black skinny jeans and checkered shoes. He wanted revenge and justice, a life full of villainous acts, but deep down he knows it's wrong. He has a heart, but with everything he's been through, it's hard to see through him to that soft spot. He's 18 years old and 6'10', but he wasn't always like this.
The story will begin shortly, I apologise in advance if it is confusing to comprehend, I'll try my best to fix it in the future.
