I walk to the cashier and wave my hand at the next customer.
It's the guy who I usually get and he walks up the the cashier. "Hi," he says. "I'd like-." I cut him off. "A Venti Iced Americano, no water with 4 extra espresso shots, okay." I tap onto the machine. The boy smiles and nods. "Thanks," he says. "Yeah." I reply, as he walks off. I roll my eyes to myself as I complain in my mind that I keep getting the same guy who always orders the same thing.
I prepare the guys coffee and I feel his eyes literally daggering into my back. I sigh in relief as I finally finish his order. I turn and place his bitter shi- coffee on the platform. He smiles and takes it. "Thank you again." He says. I smile and look back to my phone. I sit down, hearing the familiar chime of the café's door. The boy left. I open my phone again. Which directly opened to fflp when I left it closed.
