Yes it's true,
there were no tears streaming down her face,
nor was her breath jagged or sharp
but deep down inside there was
a rainstorm in her
heart
and I guess
that's what she meant when she looked at me
with her scared and distressed eyes
and told that that she was
drowning on the
inside
