I'll love again

In all honesty, you hurt me 

more than poems can write 

and more

than a sad pair of eyes can say

but still

I'm never going to stop loving

I'll fall in love with the way the world spins

and how the stars light up my life

and how the leaves fall

 and the winter passes into spring  

over and over again 

I'm not going to shut down my heart 

I'll love again
