Jungkook snickers.

That's how the two end up sitting at the plastic chairs in the eating area just outside the convenience store. Adora is slurping on some tasty-looking steamy noodles while Jungkook is gulping down his cold, refreshing ice tea.

"Heard you got invited to a talk show."

Adora looks up from her cup, in the middle of sipping a string of the ramen. She smirks immediately, dancing with her shoulders as she sups the entire thing. She points her chopsticks at Jungkook after swallowing. "Told you we'd make it, didn't I?"

Jungkook laughs. "Am I the hater or something? Need me to remind you who put you up there?"

Adora laughs too, in knowledge of her teasing. "Ah, Jungkook. I'll always be grateful to you, hope you know that."

Being thanked always makes Jungkook embarrassed and this time is no different. He shakes his head and mutters a bunch of no biggies, smiling shyly when Adora passes him a knowing look and goes back to eating.

She really is impressive.

Even in her damn home attire.

Jungkook has a feeling she is a badass past trying. When she tries, amazing things happen. For instance, YAGJA landed a talk show interview with one of the biggest TV stations. It might not look like a very big deal but it is for a beginner group. That's only the tip of the iceberg; bomb news is that YAGJA is finally recognized as a band by the university and are in the performance list of a variety of their upcoming events. Especially now that summer is approaching, Jungkook is guessing they are going to be busy during the season.

He even heard rumors about YAGJA being on the line-up for the next season of an airing music/band competition.

"How were your exams?" Adora asks him.

"Great," Jungkook flexes his arms, tying his hands at the back of his neck. Adora smirks, nodding like she didn't expect any less.

"Smart boy."

"You called me loser earlier."

"Fine. You suck."

Jungkook drops his expression but that entertains Adora further so he stops frowning at her and joins in on the fun. Teasing other people might be in his blood, but it's not as fun when you meet a blood-mate. Adora is much like him, talks back. Jungkook doesn't like too much of that. He likes someone that won't get offended but will heat up a little, get rosy on the cheeks and pouty on the lips...

Dang it that's Jimin.

What has he been up to anyway?

Jimin made excuses this week too, when Jungkook tried calling him. This time it's not radio silence though (thankfully) and Jungkook kind of understands that Jimin is extra busy with his new job. He is actually very happy for him, but it cuts from the time they usually spend together during the week so he is not very happy for himself.

"How about your exams?" Jungkook asks, dodging the gloomy side.

"Good question," Adora laughs, currently distracted by the notification lights coming from her phone. "I already told you I'm not into uni at the moment being, so..."

"But what if you gotta repeat classes?"

She shrugs. "I'll probably drop out by the end of the semester," and sighs, more important thoughts rushing to her. "I really really really am not the studious type."

Jungkook can see that...

Not because she doesn't look smart but because of the way she says it. She looks tired even before finishing the explanation. Jungkook doesn't like to see people be stuck with something they struggle. He is someone who gets stubborn when he is pushed and it happened a little with the mascot show; he's not sure if he'd find a reason to go on with it if it weren't for Jimin's encouragement. But then this university is for him, in a sense, it overlaps with his hobbies. He considers himself lucky for being able to pick a department that assembled with his aspirations in life — even if that means having to take basic classes from a bunch of areas he is not interested in the first year.
