"Dev you have only hurt yourself this one time but I've been getting hurt by you since the time we met but every time I convince my broken heart that it's nothing, you do something to hurt it more" she told him gulping down all the emotions she felt thinking of the past

" I know I'm like that, don't hurt yourself by being with me" he told her and it only made her angry

" what the F do you mean by that. Cant you see that I'm in love with you , cant you see that this f*cking stupid heart is in love with you" she cried hugging him, Dev didn't know what to do, he wanted to hug her back and kiss her till she became breathless but the insecurities within him didn't let him.
" But I don't deserve a good girl like you" he told her bluntly showing no emotion and this was the breaking point for her, she raised her hand but Dev didn't flinch or move and it only made her more furious she pulled back and slapped him hard on the cheeks but it wasn't enough for her, she again pulled back to slap him but this time he caught her
" Then become the guy I deserve"

" Trisha, I don't know if I can , I don't know what I want"

" Yes you don't, you agreed to marry a girl with no intention of marrying her, you got drunk and you humiliated me infront of your friends. You made me cry on my first night and then again you didn't inform or discuss with me when you were getting money from my father . I don't know if all this is right or wrong. If it was wrong that I came to your bachelor party or that I had no rights to interfere in your business dealings but all this while I've been hurt by your actions. You have only broken my heart but I still cannot stop loving you, can you hear me . Can you understand what I feel"

" I can already see what we will be, that's why I'm scared" he let out the thoughts in his mind

" Are you scared of fighting with your spouse or are you scared of yourself ask this to yourself Dev" she told and got up, she felt a lot better after the confrontation. Her heart felt light and in ease after conveying her love for him.

What Dev was worried about happened, she confessed and he's here sitting on the balcony like a fool still not letting his heart take control. The insecurities inside him were still controlling his thoughts and mind. Dev just sat there not knowing what to do

The morning rays woke Trisha and she found Dev's side empty, she got ready and walked to the kitchen , Dev was sleeping on the sofa in an uncomfortable position. Seeing him like that irritated Trisha, this stubborn man who wouldn't accept his own heart's decision she thought but Trisha understood at that moment it isn't of use or right to argue or force him into a relationship but make him understand his love and overcome his fears. She made breakfast for the both of them

Dev woke up to find it was already 10 a.m , he was relieved that today was Sunday. After getting ready he went to the kitchen but there was already breakfast and fresh juice in the table for him.
"Trishaa !" He called out with annoyance
" What " she walked to him
" This is what I really don't want you to do, we had a deal ! You're not my wife"
" I know and trust me I don't want to be, you have hurt your self like an idiot and I wanted to be a human and help you" Trisha was calm and not offended by him because all these months she was angry at him and hiding her feelings and now she wanted to kill him with her love, if this is annoying for you I'll do it more she thought.

Though Dev was being angry on her for such a petty thing, he hogged on the breakfast as he was hungry and sat down on the sofa. Trisha came to the hall holding a cardboard box
" So the projector we've ordered has arrived in the morning"
" shall we watch a movie?" She asked with excitement. Dev couldn't say no , he started assembling it while she downloaded one of her favourite movie to watch.
" I'll get the popcorn ready" she went to prepare it . Dev connected the laptop to the projector and started playing the movie. Trisha ran back to the couch to not miss the starting, she immediately sat near him. The close proximity of Trisha was bothering Dev like always so he moved away leaving space for himself to breathe sanefully, choosing an English movie to watch together was a mistake Dev thought. Some of the passionate moments between the lead couple we're not appropriate enough to watch with Trisha, it was only adding to the torture he's been having for a month, so he excused himself to smoke . Trisha was so engrossed in her movie that she didn't notice Dev slipping away, when Dev joined back she noticed
" You missed the funny part" she told him putting her hand over his leg, Dev didn't know if Trisha was really doing it on purpose or if he was taking it all in the wrong way, he lifted her hand from his thigh and put it back on her legs
" Ouh I'm sure I did" he replied calmly looking at her, her big eyes watching the movie intently and a smile playing on her lips seeing the romantic scenes in the movie, he wanted to kiss her right there on the couch softly and passionately, he swallowed down his saliva to wet his parched throat
" Dev!" She cried
" Whaat?"
" You're staring!  At. My lips!!"
" Well I mhmm" he cleared his throat
" I thought you guys looked similar, you know the heroine and you" he lied like a fool
" Really, I can actually do the things she doesn't" she hissed , her voice suddenly turned low and husky , she moved closer giving Dev goosebumps but she stood up and walked away. Dev was perplexed , she is definitely here to drive me crazy he thought

" So you've started torturing him" Maximus asked

" Yes , revenge is sweet. I'm going to kill him with my love!" she smiled like a Cheshire cat, she sipped her coffee.

" All the best " he raised his cup.

" Though he's been an umtamed horse , I think I can tame him"

" Thought you didn't want to be the woman who didn't want to teach a man what life is"

" Yes what to do, I even tried to seduce him" she gave him a abashed look

"Really? No I don't need to hear this"

" No I'm not going to tell you anyways" she ended their regretful conversation
