He was dreaming. Dreaming about high waves, hard rocks and pain. Very much pain.
Bones breaking at getting crashed against the cliffs, air getting pushed out of his lungs and his consciousness slipping from his fingers. He was panicking. He didn't want to drown, he didn't want to die, not like this.
Just when he thought he had died he opened his eyes. It felt as if he got an electric shock.
Only a moment later he felt himself drowning again, just this time not in water.
Someone was singing. It was beautiful and capturing. Immediately caught in the mesmerizing voice he looked around trying to find out who it came from.
Only now he realized he was laying on a stone, still half in the water. He could also feel the pain in his ribs, arms and legs but that didn't matter to him, the only thing that mattered was the person, in front of him.
It was a boy, small brown eyes, black hair and he was singing. Soonyoung didn't even think about what he was doing, only when the boy backed away a bit and looked at him surprised he realized he had extended his hand towards the boy.
"You're awake", it wasn't a question, Soonyoung nodded nonetheless.
"Your wounds aren't fully healed yet, so go back to sleep, the pain will stop after you wake up again."
The boy had stopped singing but his talking seemed to lure Soonyoung in just as much. All he could see was absolute beauty and perfection.
The boy seemed a bit confused as to why Soonyoung was acting that way.
"Is it possible that you've heard me sing?"
Again all Soonyoung could do was nod.
"Of course, that's the only thing stronger than my talking", he obviously was talking to himself but it wouldn't have mattered anyway because Soonyoung was in no state of mind to actually process anything. It was as if he was under a spell.
The boy smiled and Soonyoung thought he'd explode from all the happy feelings within him.
"Now go back to sleep, lay your head down and rest", this time he was more singing than talking and Soonyoung felt his eyelids getting heavy.
Before his head hit the ground he managed to mumble a "What is your name?"
"My name is Woozi, but don't worry about that, sleep", was the last thing he heard before slipping back into his dreams filled with water, rocks and pain.

"Soonyoung!"
He looked up confused. His friends were staring at him worried.
"Are you okay, you seem a bit out of it the last few days", Minghao said obviously concerned.
"Yeah I'm good, I just don't sleep very well these days", it wasn't a complete lie, but it also wasn't the whole truth, and Soonyoung knew that his friends could sense that.
It was true that he wasn't able to sleep well, one reasoning being everytime he closed his eyes he felt himself drowning again, the other being his mind was constantly occupied by a certain black haired male.
Okay, I guess we'll just have to believe you", Juns voice interrupted his thoughts."As Minghao was saying, we have to leave now, dancing lessons start in about half an hour."
Soonyoung nodded, not even really listening, all his thoughts wavering around that beautiful voice and face.
Only at the sound of the door closing he snapped out of it.
