Chapter 4 • Oh Brothers!

Start from the beginning

I must have gotten to lost into the book because the next thing I know the door to the library banged open, I jumped and dropped my book while turning to look at the door to see a new guy that looked a couple years older than me and kinda looked like Matteo, so I'm assuming he's one of my brothers.

He had dark brown hair like me but instead of the green eyes that me and Matteo have he has brownish green eyes with freckles covering his face, he had a wide grin on his face as his eyes landed on me.

"Ah I was told you were in here" he's started to walk towards me so I stood up, from experience I don't like being on the ground around anyone who can easily take me down and well he could.

"Yah, so which one are you?" I didn't know if that was the wrong thing to say or if it was rude I didn't like being mean to people, my mother always told me always try to be nice to people because you don't know what their going through and one act of kindness can make somebody's day.

He looked surprised that I asked that and for a second I got nervous but then he just simply laughed it off "I'm Emilio I'm the second youngest."

Now that he was right next to me I couldn't help but think that he was tall and he had muscle and looked like he knew what to do with it that's a lethal combination, I couldn't help but feel intimidated even if he was wearing a goody grin, so I took a step back.

"Oh ok, how did you know where I was?" I remember him saying that someone told him that I was in here which is weird because I don't remember anyone else in here.

"Oh that Matteo told me he saw you in here when he was walking by. So come on" he turned around before I could even get a word in and started walking to the door, I didn't know where we were going but I just followed him.

As we walked down the hall we came to a staircase and went down it, I don't remember these being the stairs Matteo lead me up last night. How many staircases do they have?

He lead me down another hallway with a lot of windows, I looked out of them to find a beautiful garden with so many different kind of flowers, there was trees everywhere it looked like the perfect spot to paint, I used to love painting but ever since my mom passed I haven't been inspired by anything.

Emilio ended up leading me to the kitchen, it was big and very modern with white cabinets and countertops with grey wooding on the bottom, the windows go out into the garden giving it a perfect view, there's a counter island with bar stools around it.

"Alright so you hungry? You must be you haven't eaten all day that's my fault really I was supposed to go get you like an hour ago but I was watching The Office sorry." He said all of that with one breath.

He didn't even wait for me to answer his question before he started pulling out food to make sandwiches, he started to make two sandwiches.

"Alright Bon appétit." He places the ham sandwich in front of me along with a glass of ice water, I picked it up and took a small bite, it was probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted.

"Hm it's really good." He was watching me before he started eating, he ate half of his sandwich in one bite.

"Really bro your gonna scare our baby sis." I looked up at the doorway to find another guy with a smirk walking in, he was tall as well and he had the light brown hair like Matteo, but he had the hazel eyes of brown and green, he was wearing a black T-shirt I could see on the exposed parts of his hands that he had some tattoos and had rings covering his fingers.

"What? I'm hungry and where do you think I learned to eat like this from" I couldn't really understand what Emilio had said because of all the food he talked around in his mouth.
