(A.N. One last thing before we dive into this, pun not intended. I'm sure that there are writers who have done the concept of a Subnautica mermaid. I haven't come across one yet, but I'm sure it exists. So, despite the fact I don't know anyone who has done this concept as of yet, I will give a shoutout to those people anyways.
