Before I start this off, if I get information wrong with any of these rants please correcr me in the comments and I will fix them.  I'm not the most knowledgable person in the world, but am willing to admit mistakes.  Some stuff I'll plead ignorance too and some I won't.  Cause like I said it's time to say how I really feel.

This is something I didn't expect to happen.  I noticed a lot of people, whether they're joking or not, going after Chase in Paw Patrol because he's a police pup.  Personally I don't love or hate Chase, however, I don't see him as a bad pup.  Now that being said I gotta bring a few things.

1.  If you pay any attention to the show then you know that Chase is not armored to the with military grade gear, guns, knifes, batons, handcuffs, tazers, or anything that a police man has irl cause it's a kids show.  However, when wearing his normal outfit, he has a blue police hat with a yellow trim and black bill. His vest and pup-pack are blue, with three yellow chevrons on each side, usually the rank of a police sergeant.  In his normal pup pack he has a net, tennis ball launcher, light, and a megaphone.

2.  People have wrapped up their political views on this as well from what I saw on Twitter and reading multiple articles.  Umm...news flash a kid the show is targeted towards ain't gonna know the difference.  Even if they did it's completely wrong cause again it's a show targeted for Preschoolers and Kindergarteners to learn to be a part of their community, help their friends, be there for others in need, be responsible, and make new friends.  Bit messed up to label a kid show with wrong shit.

3.  Also on top of this people say cancel Paw Patrol just because of Chase and "the good cop trait." Problem with that is, 1.) It's Nickolodeon's biggest money maker next to Spongebob, 2.) A lot of people would be devastated the show ended cause people fail to realize they're debating about a kids show, 3.) The show teaches so many good morals even if the episodes can drag or aren't good to certain people.

Now...I wanna address the elephant in the room.  Chase being a 'police pup.'  I really have problems seeing him as a police dog/officer/police sergeant.  He really doesn't do anything that these people/ pups do in the real world.  From watching him, listening to him, and knowing what he does I have come to the conclusion that Chase isn't a police dog at all.  Instead, I have concluded that he is either a detective, super spy, or something along those lines.  He has the best hearing and smelling of the original pups to the point where he knows what something smells like when blindfolded, has extremely good observation skills and picks up on some of the smallest details of jobs, is a great leader in directing the pups, often goes out on detective missions anyway, and showd ever skill a great detective has in general.  Plus, he's even got a whole Super Spy get up.

If I missed anything in this or got anything wrong please correct me.  I'm learning and am open to what you have to say.  That's all for this rant and thanks for listening.
