Erza stood outside the iron dragon slayers door, contemplating why she was there. She was excited yet nervous as she stood trying to gather the courage to knock. She had wanted the dragon slayer for a while now, he had been on her mind constantly since the incident.

Flashback
Erza smiled as she watched all of her friends dance at the ball, all seeming very happy. She turned when she felt a light Tap on her shoulder and came eye to eye with Gajeel. 'Hey, you wanna dance? I ain't got nothin else ta do.' Erza smiles at the hand he offered before taking and leading him to the dance floor. Erza felt like she was on cloud nine, the way he danced with her made her feel special and light as a feather. Soon Pantherlily called on Gajeel asking him to help him get a kiwi from the fruit bowl. Erza watched Gajeel walk away with a blush and a bubbling feeling in her stomach.
Flashback over

Erza took a deep breath and knocked, she stood there and held her usual strong posture and stern expression. When the door swung open Erza felt her breath catch in her throat.
