Things were a little tense with Melanie after that stupid prank that Whitney pulled on her. I mean come on that was too low even for her. Now Melanie was so scared of showing her face at school and on top of that she was mad at me "again'....seeing that to her Whitney was "my friend". Sigh when did things fall out of place so fast ? Oh I know ..the day when I was called to be Whitney's freaking tutor. Great! In addition to that Liza has been in a bad mood ever since and Lamar?let's just say sometimes he can be a pain the ass. I rushed downstairs to the living room where we were "allegedly" having family dinner that was bought at "Monet's ". Yep family dinner bought at a store! Crazy
"Hey handsome you're sitting beside Lamar "my mom said enthusiastically as I walked over to the dinner table.
Freaking great right just the person I need in my life.
Lamar,someone else's father and not my very own father.
"Hey buddy"Lamar said while pulling the chair for me.
"Thhhanks" I stuttered.
"Oh my God " Liza exclaimed while laughing,she was seated next to *my* mom and was already eating the steak from the table.
So much for family dinner,absolutely no morals.
"Let's say a grace." My mom said.
"What for Liza's already eating." I said rudely.
"Well at least am eating,your girlfriend didn't allow persons to do that with my cupcake at school."
"Mmyyyy girlfrieeend ? " I asked stammering
"What ?" Lamar asked," his girlfriend was the one who did all this mess."
"Yes dad" she said.
"You have a girlfriend ?" My mom asked happily.
Really mom come on now you were just going to pick sides with them over me like that. Well yeah of course you would great.
"Harry?" She asked again breaking my thoughts.
"What mom? " I asked angrily.
"Honey u didnt tell me you had a girlfriend what's her name? " she asked happily.
All this time Liza was smiling happily because she knew she was lying and my mom was falling for it.i was getting so angry.
"Yeah why don't you take her over for dinner tomorrow bud" Lamar said laughing. This was it.
"You know what's messed up about all of family dinner right now I'm eating with total strangers there's no damn family here mom so stop trying to pretend there is!" I shouted as I ran from the table upstairs to my room and shut my door. I could feel the glares at my back and hear my mom calling me to come back but I didn't care.
How annoying was this whole family thing now.
I took my headphones out and began jamming to some music.
I was so annoyed.
