Fears, chapter two.

~ 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞

Mike had lifted one of the chairs and was slamming it on the table, trying to kill one of the things that had came out of a cookie, continuing to yell "It's not real!"

One of the waitresses came over to the corner "is everything alright..?" She asked

everything stopped.

everything was gone and Mike stopped hitting the, now empty, table

"Yeah.. yeah, could we get the Cheque?" Richie spoke with a stupid smile as Lydia gave a sheepish one from behind him

The waitress quickly walked away, understandably seeming scared

Lydia looked at everyone for a second and then down to where the small prices of paper had sat, although they were now gone

She quickly pushed past Richie, grabbing her coat and bag and leaving the corner they had sat

Quickly, everyone gathered their things, throwing down some money and followed after Lydia

"That's- that's what pennywise does right? He fucks with us so, Lyds, Connor and Mia are probably fine" Eddie spoke to her as they all walked quickly to try keep up with her

"Yeah, I mean, Pennywise did this all the time Lyds. Do you not remember him making a missing poster for me? Clearly I was fine" Richie added in

Lydia quickly turned around and looked at him angrily "Rich, the difference is you were right in front of my face when we found that missing poster. Do you see my kids in front of my face right now? No. So I don't know if they are okay! I don't want to think that they are "probably" okay I want to know they are okay!" she spoke, raising her voice slightly

Richie opened his mouth to say his reply but before he could, the voice of a young boy came from behind the group "hey Richie"

Slowly everyone turned around to find the source of the voice and as much as Lydia wanted to run out of the building and call the babysitter, she walked forward and stood closely behind Rich

"How'd you uh, how'd you know my name?" Richie asked the kid, who couldn't have been older than ten

the kid smiled a tiny bit " 'the funs just beginning'... right?" the boy answered, his smile staying on his face

Eddie looked at everyone with a worried look "is- is that-" he didn't even bother finishing his line before rushing back to hide behind Richie and Lydia

Rich pointed a finger at the boy "listen, you think this is funny? Think this is some sort of game huh?" he grabbed the kids arm and Lydia jumped slightly as he began to shout

"Well fuck you alright!"

"Rich, be careful." Mike spoke

"Fuck you! I'm not afraid of you!" Richie continued yelling

" 'The fun's just beginning'... it's a line from your act dude... I'm a fan" the kid spoke up

Lydia let out a breath and slightly shook her head

Richie glanced behind the kid, where two very angry looking parents were walking up "are those your parents?" He asked, pointing over at them
