Petrichor is the earthy smell of mud after it has rained. I truly adore that aroma. So I decided to write sort of a ballad on it when I was in 9th.

The thunder so Loud,
The lightning so sharp,
Depressed the lonely cloud.
No longer be could accumulate,
The emotion in vain,
Sadness, made it so insane.

He sobbed, cried and wept,
Untill his rainy tears reached
The Earth's core, oh! she felt
So pity that her soul; the soil
Absorbed the raindrops thereafter,
She'd sense everytime a drop falls.

The pain, these tears so salty
Inturn, she wholeheartedly gave.
The cloud a memorable message,
The Earth a pure perfume,
That could heal and apppeal,
Anxious mind & distressed spirit.

An aroma, an essence which
We lovingly call 'Petrichor'
And its indeed a divine bond,
Thst can nowhere be found.

So if you'd ever shed,
Heavy rains from your eyes.
Be sure to find or create,
The petrichor, a heavenly cure.
