Cloud's POV-
Time has been ticking, I lost so much time into those missions, and quest I hardly realized my body was draining of energy.
The healing materia had kept me physically stable. Sucks that it doesn't do effect on me mentally.
Maybe Chadley can make me materia for that.
Although maybe is just the feeling that the illusions of Sephiroth's return, are making me feel out of it.
Its what has been keeping my mind zoned out nowadays.
Talking about zoning out, I felt a tingly feeling around my mouth making my mouth opened wide into a yawn, and I raised my hand to cover my mouth as good manners.
We been in this library for almost an hour. Jessie made Biggs and I come to look for some books that she needs to make her equipment and weapons, since it's part of the mission I had no choice but to come along.
We found all the books Jessie needs, but there are a few more that the library lady has on the back for extra copies, since the books that stay on the shelfs are checked out.
"C'mon now! Don't tell me a little scavenger hunt drained you down ?" Biggs crossed his hands with a Smirk on his face.
"Im fine." I shake my head.
"Hey, i been meaning to ask. By chance are you and Tifa like..?" Biggs gave me a quirky smile while raising his eyebrows.
I looked at him with confusion. "It's not like that- I've just known her since we we're kids."
"So childhood friends, I see." Biggs nodded his head. "As much as you aren't much of a talker, you seem to be a ladies man."
His body language was easy to read as my mugged face got him uneasy.
"Hey man don't take it wrong, it's a compliment." Shaking his head, he smiled looking behind me and walked towards the lady with the books.
He's not wrong. Tifa has told me many times to be more nice. It's not easy, and of course it's cake for her to do, she's always been humble. I'm just here for the jobs, it ain't nothing more than that.
I thought.
"Cloud, you ready to head back?" Biggs slightly dropped his head to the side.
I nodded. Taking the lead. "Yea, let's go."
We were on the way to 7th heaven. People were already luring the slums drinking and doing their crazy stuff. It reeks of alcohol everywhere. I could care less of what people do, because it's only the adults who are out at this time. They know what they're doing.
"Seeing people out an about makes me wanna joinn-" Biggs cried.
"Hey! Wadaya say? You tryna get some drinks once we get there ?" He softly nudge my arm.
