Raiden's wrath(prologue)

P.O.V: third person

In the netherrealm a man stood before the newly crowned Emperor and Empress of the netherrealm with a warning.

"As the new leaders of the netherrealm know this I will no longer simply defend earthrealm. I will seek out and destroy all those who threaten it." The figure said with dark red eyes and newly black and gold attire. "No mercy will be shown no quarter giving."

After his declaration hè grabbed his bag and from it he threw the head of their former ruler shinnok.

"There are fates worse than death." After Raiden said this he teleported away. Leaving the emperor and empress alone with shinnok's head. But back in the netherrealm the New Emperor Liu Kang was furious.

"Damn that raiden how dare he do this to our glorious lord!" Liu kang shouted holding his fist in anger as fire started to erupt from it. "He always does this to me!". The newly crowned Empress Kitana however was more composed.

"What are we going to do Liu kang?" Kitana said looking at him with concern.

Liu Kang calmed down and stopped to think for a second until he finally spoke "Despite what Raiden said I am not concerned, but we must first gather our forces before we attack and then destroy Raiden."

"I do not think it is wise to attack earthrealm not right now that is." Kitana said with the earlier fear in her eyes diminished.

Liu kang turned around to look at kitana "Oh and why is that?"

"In case you have forgotten we already lost to earthrealm even when we had the support of lord Shinnok."

Liu Kang gritted his teeth "You do not suggest that we just allow Raiden to intimidate us have you forgotten what he did to me to us?"

Kitana shook her head "No of course not! I merely suggest that we should strengthen our forces before we attack earthrealm besides we have other enemies"

Liu kang looked at her with acknowledgement "Yes I suppose that would be the best course of action." Liu kang stated agreeing with her earlier assesment "Well who do you suggest we recruit first?"

"I believe our first step should be to round up all the remaining revenants."

"Yes you're right Empress. Speaking of which do you know where jade is" Emperor Liu kang asked curious where she was during the attack on raiden's sky temple. Luckily for him the Empress was aware of the location of her best friend."

"Yes Liu Kang last I heard she was sent on a mission by Quan Chi to investigste edenia."

"For what?" The Emperor asked very intrigued by what Quan Chi wanted with a broken wasteland like Edenia. All that was left of that realm were the broken pieces it left after merging with outworld. Although he shouldn't say all that to kitana as he was unsure if her feelings for her homerealm were the same.

"Apparently he was looking for something called a kamidogu." Kitana stated "Those daggers with blood magik Quan Chi tasked Havik with reclaiming?" Liu Kang asked wondering why Quan Chi would try to reclaim those things again.

"These kamidogu are apparently somehow different from those daggers, but that is all I know we will have to ask jade about the rest." Kitana stated no longer interested in the subject. "Alright let's begin immediatly!" Liu Kang stated with glee in his voice already imaging his former mentor being cut down by his hands. Kitana on the other hand was amused by Liu kang's anger she found it most delicious. 

"Just you wait Raiden when I get my hands on you I will make you pay for everything you did to me all in good time" Liu Kang thought to himself.

Orderrealm A.K.A Saido

"Greetings lord raiden." Greeted an unknown man. He had a samurai like look. Long silver and white hair. Hè wore a full upper body suit of armor. The armor was black and gold and cover his entire body. Hè also wore unique flags on his armor. This man was one of the generals that protected orderrealm his name was hotaru.

"Greetings hotaru I have come on dire business. I believe it is time to finally bring order to all realms I require seido's help for that." Raiden stated simply wanting to make his point clear.

Hotaru narrowed his eyes curiously looking at earthrealm's protector "Why come to me with this now? You have always allowed realms to do as they pleased before. I assume this has something to do with netherrealm's recent attack?"

Raiden nodded "Yes it finally opened my eyes. For too long have I allowed tyrants like shao Kahn and quan chi do as they pleased. They may be gone, but their successors still scheme with each attack they make earthrealm citizens suffer more. Which is why I require your help hotaru to finally end their blight across the realms."

Hotaru shook his head "With all due respect lord Raiden these are earthrealm issues. While Saido detest the chaotic netherrealm and outworld we have no prior quarrel with them. By doing this we risk waging war with both realm's, besides Saido has its own problems such as the filthy rebel darrius."

"I understand your concerns hotaru but is it not a citizen of saido's desire to bring order to all beings. I am now giving you the means to do so, besides in return for saido's assistance I will support your efforts to destroy darrius and his resistance."

Hotaru nodded his head "You make fine point lord raiden very well I will accept."

"Excellent" raiden said with excitement in his voice

"But first I must pass this request for an alliance through to the high council and they will pass it through the Supreme Chancellor they will then carefully debate whether to accept your proposal or not. This may take a while, but these are Saido's customs." Hotaru explained

"Very well it will take some time before all my preparations for my assault to restore order to the realms are completed." Raiden stated "Contact me when Orderrealm has made it's decision"

"I thank you for your patience lord Raiden." Hotaru said with a bow.

"Soon earthrealm will no longer have to cower. It's people will finally know piece."
