One day, a Saturday, Lincoln was finally able to do a video call with Sam on her phone. It was in the afternoon and both had just got off of school, and it even though it still did not beat talking face to face, Lincoln much preferred talking with her this way over just texting her.

They began a usually random and silly conversation,

"I'm just saying that the Snap is away better console than Z-Cube," Lincoln was saying in one out-of-context discussion.

"Are you referring to the games library or the internal specs?" Sam retorted.

"The games obviously. I mean it has Supreme Dario Creator 2, Exhale of the Outdoors, Splish War, and Supreme Clash Companions Endgame. What does the Z-Cube have?"

"Well yeah, but the Z-Cube has The Conclusion of We, The Phantom Brain, and The Warlocker 3: Crazy Pursuit"

"What are those?"

Sam momentarily forgot that she was talking to an eleven-year-old, mentioning a couple of M-rated games she may or may not have secretly played. She blushed in a way that Lincoln thought was cute, giving him a smirk.

"Well... they... uh...," she stuttered, "we'll play them when you are older."

Lincoln laughed, "Okay then."

Suddenly, a doorbell of the Sharp household rang. This in particular took Sam by surprise because she,and likely the rest of her family, was not expecting anyone at this time. Lincoln was able to hear it too, as Sam looked up inquisitively.

"Who could that be?" Lincoln pondered.

"I don't know. We aren't expecting anybody..." Whilst still having her phone in her hand,Sam moved away from her bed and walked over to her door which much like Lincoln's room was immediately to Sam's right and forward a couple of steps. She creaked the door upon slightly, able to see down the staircase and the open foyer where visitors would enter into.Coming to the door from the West end was Sam's father. He opens the door.

"Oh my Gosh," he greeted, "Luna! We haven't seen you in a while." Sam's eyes went bloodshot. She did not realize that Luna would be around, and that she would wanting to see her, especially since usually she would at least call first.

"Oh crap!" Sam whispered worriedly.

"Hey there Mister Sharp," Luna said in her usual cheerful easygoing vibe, "how's the git box coming?"Mr. Sharp builds guitars in his spare time, and Luna knew this from the off-hand chats she had with him briefly.

"Oh, the ol' Epson is almost done. It's gonna be a real beaut", he replied.

"I'm just here to see Sam, you know."

"Oh of course, she is just in her room. She said she was doing her homework, but she's probably almost done by now. Come on in." Sam then was worried.

"Oh no! No, no, no, no! This is bad," she said as her closed the door.

"Uh, what's the problem here?"Lincoln asked curiously. He was unable to hear the conversation Luna and Sam's father had.

"Luna's here! I did not know tha tshe would be here. She can't know that we were talking!" Sam was starting to stress out, talk quickly and perspire.

"But why?" In combination with Lincoln's age and his confusion with knowing how close Luna and Sam were in the past.

"She just can't! I can't explain why..." she said trying to regain her composure. Sam briefly opened the door slightly, and saw that Luna was briefly stopped nearby the bottom of the staircase by Sam's younger brother Simon, who Luna thought that cute.
