"Oh my! Did you hear? There will be an event in the castle!"
"Yes! I'm so excited! What do you think it will be about?"
"I'm not sure, but maybe they'll announce it!"
"Ahh so intriguing! Can't wait!"
Staff in the first level of the castle have heard what Alexandre said as he made his way out the entrance. Heads turned immediately when an event was mentioned and the chatters quickly began. Some of Mari's staff friends went up to her to see what's being held.
"Mari, we've heard Sir Alexandre say something about an event! Do you know what it is?"
"Is it a ball? Is it a dinner? Is it a royal welcoming?"
"Ahhh imagine how luxurious Sir Alexandre will make this place look with the connections he has!"
The three maids chirped as they surrounded Marinette.
She giggled, "well, it's none of those guesses."
"Well what it is? Ooh please tell us!"

"Alright," Mari began, "I wasn't told that I shouldn't tell anyone, so I believe it's fine if I tell you guys. It's not that big of a deal anyway."
The maids stayed quiet and waited for Mari to proceed.
Mari winked, "It's my 18th birthday party."
Screaming and cheering suddenly erupted as the three maids danced to the announcement and twirled Mari around.
"Oh that is such good news! The princess is turning 18!"
"Mari, I will give you an early gift! I'll be back!"
"Me too!"
"Me three!"
Mari giggled, "oh no girls it's alright, it's not necessary-"
