Jens POV
We just got back home and Alex was in the car riding with Cynthia the entire time. Ella and Tashi ended up coming with me, we had to stop at the stop sign and I guess their mom told them to get in the car with me so they so did. But it pisses me off even more like he couldn't just call a fucking Uber or our other driver like he just had to ride with her.
The kids went to their rooms and I just decided to sit in the living room and watch tv while drinking some read wine to calm me down. I know he isn't cheating on me but that pisses me off and Cynthia is just- I don't know what the hell is up with her she's never kissed him, well never in front of me that I know of. Here he comes in the door now
"Jennifer we need to talk" he says walking up to the couch looking hurt, but why would he be hurt...
"I don't wanna talk Alex" I say still looking at the tv
"Please Jen" he says and places his hand on my knee but I move it
"I said no!" I say then Cynthia walks through the door looking sad as fuck, damn what'd he do to her
"Why is she here?" I ask looking at him
"I said we need to talk and I asked her to come" he says looking at me still sitting on the couch looking up at me and Cynthia is just standing there with her arms crossed looking scared as ever
"Can you at least close the damn door my god" I say flopping down on the couch and grabbing a pillow and holding it then just stared at him mad as hell
"Cynthia come sit down" he says looking at her
"What the hell" I say
"Jen please, we need to settle this. So let her sit down so we can get this over with" he says looking at me stressed
"Fucking out of his mind" I mumbled to myself
She sits down on the other side of the couch and Alex is on the middle couch
"So Cynthia you need to apologize, I don't know why the hell you kissed me, I don't know why the hell you said the girls don't like her and all the other you stuff" he said
"Have you two had sex after you got with me Alex" I ask looking down
"Hell no! Why would you ask that if never cheat on you!" He says looking at me like I'm stupid
"Okay, okay I'm sorry. I just needed to make sure-" I say but got cut off
"Jen I'm sorry- I didn't mean to kiss him. I was so stuck in the moment and wasn't thinking. I'm sorry that I said that the kids don't like you when I know they absolutely love you, they love being over here with your kids and you to. I really apologize for what I did" she said sadly looking into my eyes closely
I just sit there and listen to her talk, she sounds so sweet and not acting like a bitch. I'm glad he sat us down now because I thought she was just and pathetic fuck up but I was wrong I guess.
"Well that's good, thank you for apologizing to me and I accept it but I really think you needa talk to Tashi, she is really mad at you, you really- like really pissed her off" I said laughing at the end making them laugh too, see I like this because we get to sit down and talk like adults and solve problems and not be assholes
"Okay could you call her in here Jennifer, if she hears my voice she's not gonna come out" she says sincerely
This woman is so beautiful- she doesn't even look like the type of woman that is supposed to be hurt but I'm pretty sure she was...just hearing about your husband being unfaithful on the news and all platforms and you not knowing if it's true or not, then coming home every night not knowing if he's sleeping with someone else and he's laying in the bed you both sleep in- gosh- I cant imagine. I see why she misses him so much because whether you believe it but Alex is one hot ass man if you ask me but you know he's all mine and only mine so
