Chapter 21

When I pull up home that day I see an all to familiar face sat on the door step. I get out the car and walk towards the house. "Uncle Ian?" I say shocked. "Sophie" He says standing up before hugging me. "What are you doing here?" I say as I open the door and invite him in. "I'm on leave from work" He says.  Ian was my mams younger brother, me and him had been quiet close since he was just 10 years older than me. I guess he was like the older brother I never had. He always looked out for me, especially after I lost my parents. "Is there any chance I could stay a couple of nights till my house is ready?" He says looking at me. "Of course, you can stay in the 2nd bedroom" I say smiling. "Thank you" he sighs.

We sit and talk catching up and talking about what has happened since the last time we saw each other. As were talking there's a knock on the door. I stand up off the couch and go and answer it. I open the door to perri. "Come in" i say as he steps in he kisses me on the head before following me to the front room. "Perri this is my uncle Ian" I say as I sit down. "I remember him I think, he's your mams brother isn't he?" He says sitting down next to me. I nod my head. "Wait I'm sure I saw something about you two kissing in the news?" Ian says. I look up and say "why don't you go to bed you must be tired, I'll explain tomorrow". "Yeah I'm actually shattered I'll see you in the morning" he says as he walks up the stairs.

"Are you embarrassed?" Perri says looking at me. "No" I say looking up to him. "It's just he's my uncle and I don't really want to talk about my love life with him." I say looking at him. He just looks at me and laughs. "Stop" I say pushing him in the shoulder. I head up stairs to change and then come back down to watch some telly with perri. As I walk into the room perri looks at me and smirks so I roll my eyes. I sit on the couch and pull the blanket over me. Perri pulls me to cuddle with him. As were sat watching the telly perri runs his hand through my hair and I can't help but smile. I was sat on my phone so I ordered some pizza. When it arrived I stood up and answered the door before returning to the front room. "Sorry but this is mine" I say smirking at perri. "I'm only joking" I say passing him the box. "Thank you" He says smiling. We sat and talked for a bit before I got tired. "Right I'm going to bed I'm absolutely shattered" I say standing up. Suddenly I'm swept off my feet by perri who is carrying me bridal style. "I'll take you up" He says smiling. When we get to my room he puts me down and I crawl into bed pulling the duvet over me. Perri jumps over me and lays under The duvet next to me. I turn on to my side facing perri, he moves closer to me so that my head is in his chest and plays with my hair. "Goodnight" perri whispers in my ear. I reply "goodnight" as perri kisses me on my head and I fall into a deep sleep.

Perri's POV

I laid on the bed with Sophie cuddled into my chest and I couldn't be happier. She was just adorable. It was only 11 o'clock when my phone rings, I look at the ID to see Jordan wanting to face time. I answer it and whisper "hey" as I didn't want to wake Sophie. "Hey is that Sophie next to you?" He questions. "Yeah she's asleep" I say. "You can tell she makes you happy" he says with a smile. "She really does" I say looking at her and smiling. "Have you told anyone?" I ask curiously. "I've only told Nay, you don't mind do you?" He asks. "No, honestly it fine, I still need to tell the others" I say with a smile. "Well they'll be happy for you" He says the smile on his face getting bigger. We talk for a while longer before Jordan goes to bed and I fall asleep with Sophie.

When I woke up the next morning Sophie was gone. She wasn't in her bed. I get up and head down stairs, to find her in the kitchen. "What you doing?" I say wrapping my arms around her waist. "Making breakfast" She says as she pulls out a Bowl and places it on the work top. I spin her round to face me and kiss her on the lips. "Sorry" a voice calls from behind us. We turn around to see her uncle stood there. "It's fine" Sophie says as she pours her cereal. I look at her to see the blush creeping up her cheeks, making me smirk to my self. "Don't you have rehearsals today?" She says looking at me. "Not till later" I reply. "Are you at work today?" I ask looking at her. She shakes her head and says "no I'm taking my couple of weeks off now, I think I need it." She says sighing slightly. "Right well your spending the day we me and I'm not taking no for an answer" I say looking her trying to be all serious. "I would but I was going spend sometime with my uncle" she says looking up at me. "I'm going to see my mam Sophie, spend the day with her you should go" Ian calls from the living room. "Right that's settled then your coming with me" I say smiling knowing she can't get out of this. "Right once your ready we'll head out" I say as she walks up the stairs to change.
