Chapter 5 midnight drunk kisses

Daniel's POV (you didn't see that coming)
The countdown started and people were getting ready for their midnight New Years kisses while I stand in the corner with a drink in my hand trying to drink my thoughts away. I've liked Lena for a while now and she fell for Crawford he's my homie but I just like her so much. I downed my drink. And people started shouting the countdown. "5 4 3 2 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" People drank their drinks and kissed there girlfriends or boyfriends I down a whole other beer and sat on the couch next to Jonah. "Dude how many of those have you had?" He said as I drank probably my fifth bottle of the night. "I don't know two." Lie. He looked at me and raised his eyebrow. "What!?" I say as he keeps looking at me. "Your done drinking for the night." He says taking my drink. "Hey I'm drinking that and it's really helping me right now." I say reaching for it. "No you have nothing to forget." He then realized what I meant. "Please tell me it isn't them." He said pointing to Crawford and Lena who were talking on the other side of the room. "Yes it is." I say snatching the bottle and finishing it. "Dude!" He said. "Let's go party Jonah let's just have a fun fucking night!" I say loudly over the music. He finally agrees and I drag him to the kitchen for shots. "Daniel you drank enough." I rolled my eyes and poured us multiple shot in a line. (I get this stuff from movies and YT)
"First one to finish wins 50 bucks!" Jonah says and I nod. "Let's go baby!!" I yelled. We started and Jonah won. "Fuck you man you drink more than I do." I laugh. "Whatever I win you loose!" He laughed.
Lena's POV
I was talking with Christian, Daniels older brother we were just randomly talking and then I look over and see Jonah and Daniel taking shots and racing to see who is faster. "Um look at your brother." I say pointing to Daniel. "Oh god he's so wasted." Christian laughed. Phoenix came up next to us laughing her ass off about something. "What's gotten into you?" I ask. "Look at my brother and Daniel they are so wasted it's hilarious!" She laughed and leaned into me. I laughed as she seemed to be pretty happy and in a good mood. "LADIES AND NOT VERY GENTAL MEN!!" I heard someone yell I look to see Kian with a microphone in his hand standing on the fucking counter. "WELCOME TO 2018 Bitchess!!!" People laughed and yelled and I looked around for Sephora but she wasn't anywhere. I then saw zach about to drink some alchohol me being that sister I didn't let that happen. " what are you doing?" I say grabbing his cup. "Come on seriously give it back." He said reaching for the glass. " I'm not having my little brother get drunk on my watch." I say sternly. "Please this one time please Lena." He said all innocently. "Ugh fine one drink or I swear to fucking god if you mom finds out you got drunk I'm dead and your dead!" He laughed and grabbed the cup downing it with ease I rolled my eyes since he is way to young to drink underage. I'm a bad sister. I soon heard something break in the kitchen and walked that way I then say Daniel and some guy in a heated argument it's probably one of the mutual friends. They kept talking back and forth the music to loud I could hear what they said I was too far way. Then the guy through a punch to Daniel eyes and Daniel didn't hesitate to throw one right back at him. A bunch of people were looking now. Christian was Th w first to separate them and Eben pulled the other guy away. "What the hell guys!?" Christian yelled holding his brother back.  I pushed my way through the crowd to but by the time I got to the scene Daniel had ran off. "I got him." Corbyn said running after him. "What happened?" I asked Christian. "I don't know one minute they just started arguing and the bam fists being thrown Everywhere." He said using hand motions kinda making me smile. "Have you seen crawford?" I asked looking around. I think he followed Corbyn to get Daniel." I nodded going the direction they went. I got to Daniels room and the door was closed I heard Crawford's voice and Corbyns and Daniels. "Wait so for how long?" I heard Crawford say. "Since our first year of like middle school like I mean I liked other girls because I knew she wasn't interested but still I liked her." I heard Daniel say. "So you mean to tell me you've liked your band mates big sister and your little sisters vest friends since middle school and this guys was making a joke about her and you defended her." Corbyn said sounding a little confused. "Yes I like her and Crawford I'm so so fucking sorry dude I can't control it." I heard a sob and honestly tear fell down my face. He meant mega liked me for that long and defended me tonight because of that. "It's ok Dude I understand liking people and not being able to control it I was like that for a little bit in highschool until you know Lena and I'm not mad I mean who would t like her she's great." I heard Crawford say. "I don't like her o think Sephora's kinda cute though she's like awesome." Corbyn said making me laugh a little. "Dude my fucking sister!" I heard Daniel laughing his ass off. "Yes dude your sister is awesome don't hate me but this is something that can't be controlled." They all started laughing and I kinda laughed a long quietly. "What are you doing?" I jumped to see Olivia laugh since she scared the shit out of me. "Not eves dropping on my boyfriend and his friends." I said. And she just laughed.
I was Lena on the door and all of a sudden it opened and I fell and someone caught me. "Woah there kid." I looked up to see Corbyn. "Oh hi I washouts going to the bathroom and Olivia was going to the umm.." me and Olivia looked at each other and then ran. What a crazy night.
