Chapter 2

I sat in a coffe shop around the corner from my hotel room. It was the morning after my interview with Chromia and Elita-1. All I could do was maul over my answers and over think if I should have omitted some parts and added others.

After over thinking everything for the billionth time, I heard the bell signalling someone entering the cafe.

Looking up I saw Zolanda walking in with a cute yellow wrap dress on.

I smiled. It was nice to see a familiar face in a unfamiliar place. Chicago was definitely different then Georgia.

Zolanda noticed me looking at her and the second I caught her eye I smiled and waved her over.

She slowly made her way over and took a seat.

"Hi. It's nice seeing you again." She said in a soft sweet voice.

I smirked. "Same. Its nice knowing at least someone."

"Yea. I definitely appreciate you inviting me over."

"So how do you feel the interview went."

Zolanda grinned. "I think I did pretty good after my nerves calmed down. Thanks again for being so kind."

I waved her off. "Call us even. You saved me from awkwardly sitting here alone."

Zolanda grinned. "You know I never caught your name."

"Call me Vonnie. My birth name needs to be buried in a coffin somewhere. Totally dead." I joked.

Zolanda laughed. "Vonnie it is then. Well in that case call me Lannie. Everyone else does."

"Vonnie and Lannie." I joked at the Rhyme.

She giggled. "So how was the interview for you?"

I bit my lip. "Good. Elita-1 was amazing. You can just tell how moving and strong she is. An Chromia is hilarious and awesome. I think it went well."

Zolanda or Lannie nodded with wide eyes. "Elita-1 was truly a goddess. You could feel the leadership she radiates. An Chromia...That girl is everything I love wrapped in one. She doesn't hold back her tongue."

"She asked me if I would partake in a threesome?"

Lannie gasped and started laughing. "She did not!"

I smirked and took a sip of my coffee. "Sure did."

Lannie was giggling when the waitress came up to see if she needed anything. She quickly ordered before turning to me.

"Well she asked me if I would be opposed to spontaneous sex in varies positions. Preferably doggie style."

I held my stomach and gave a hearty laugh . "That femme is hilarious!"

Lannie and I both sat there laughing at our interview experiences. It was about half a hour later, while sipping our teas that Lannie's phone went off.

"Excuse me. Let me take this."

I shrugged and waved her on.

"Hello." Lannie answered in a sweet voice. A voice spoke on the other side and when they did Zolanda's eyes widened.

"M-miss. Chromia!"

My eyes widened and I stared Lannie down.

"Oh no ma'am Im not to busy. Just relaxing in a cafe with Vonnie, a fellow recruit."

Lannie looked at me and mouthed my Government named to make sure I was who she was talking about. I nodded and she replied back.

"Yes ma'am. I'm with Vonelope."
