Chapter 3

Sorry  didn't update early but laziness got the best of me
            So here we go
  
                   After i had dropped my dads breakfast for him i hurried to catch the bus to work ,one of the reasons i agreed to this job was cause it was close to my dads hospital so it was easy to hurry to work . When i got to work the place was almost filled which meant my shift started a long time ago,i made a mental note to thank the manager "Drexel Luther "whom i  befriended when i first came here  for letting me come a little late to work cause it helps a lot . I got my apron and began taking orders immediately ,i took orders table to table going back and forth till i was sure my flats had worn out ,i cant just wait to take a nice worm shower and lay in bed . While i took the orders i, stole a glance at the wall clock and sighed in relieve my shift would end in an hour time thankfully ,i walked to table twenty one which was occupied by a single mum i presume, she was trying desperately to feed cereal to the little girl beside her who would not eat,i take there orders and leave .  Just when I'm about to get the food ordered Veronica my best friend who works her with me came running at me making me begin to panic
"what's wrong ver"i asked as I tried to take deep breaths
"girl you won't believe what just happened right nw"she said also trying to steady her breathing
'what happened, did I get sacked  ,us there a fight going on, are the police here us there a....... "I began blabbing before she cut me of
"shut the fuck up ,God I swear sometimes I feel like stuffing news layers into your mouth "
I pouted and huffed i wasn't the one running around like a psycho who escaped the psychiatric hospital
"talk Veronica I don't have all the time in the world "I said using her full name to show how serious i was
"Whatever what ever, sheesh cool your tites ,came to tell you that the boss is here "
I rolled my eyes at he dramatic she was, yes the boss never comes here but still it wasn't that of a big deal to me
"for Christ sake ver if that's all I've got alot of work to do and I believe you do to "
"Drex said you should serve vip"
"what why me "Nw this calls for being dramatic
"said something about you being the best but I didn't wait to listen"i really don't want to serve him, from what i heard he's very arrogant and egoistic and I know that if he those what I won't tolerate I'll do alot damage to my job,i sigh heavily and tell ver the table I was at before I walked out. As I approached the table I sighted three guys all obviously stinking rich on all there hands were rolexs heard those cost a fortune one was a red head he wore a three piece blue suit the others had jet black hair and dressed casually in joggers and T-shirts .i couldn't get my eyes away from the red head he was a perfect description of a Greek God I still don't get why hot guys are referred to Greek Gods but we'll its definitely what's in front of me I hadn't realized i was in front of them so put on and expressionless face .I watched in total disgust as they shamelessly undressed me with their eyes getting tired of it I spoke
"can I take your order sir "th3 red head smiled
"I would like to have you under me "he said making his friends laugh
"I'm sorry sir but in case you can't read and couldn't understand the menu I'm not on it so pls you can ask your friends to help teach you "I said making him glare at me in anger
"seems you don't know who I am pretty"something told me to shut my big mouth but well I never listen
"point of correction sir i do well know who you are but i don't give two fucks so if you would pls just order ,he turned red in anger and stood up so he was towering over me a whole lot and said
"get your self out of my restaurant "when he said that I wanted to beg but as usual my ego got the best of me
"gladly I said turned around walked to the kitchen took my things and walked out .
When I was out I hugged my self to push away the chilling air ,I felt like tearing up but I don't cry any more ,I had decided earlier not to go to the strip club but I'm reconsidering how was i going to cope now when I had two extra mouths to feed I then decided to start applying for a job first thing tomorrow when I reached a stop I stopped a taxi told the driver my house address and then I sat in and closed my mind to every thing I just kept staring at the trees that went by. When I arrived home Damian wasn't yet back so I took a short shower and began cooking dinner  ,when I  was done i packaged my dads and  stopped a taxi and sent it to him I ate mine quietly and when I was done i stayed in the living room to watch a movie but slept half way I was awakened by a knock on the door when I opened it I saw Veronica with Damian which made me smile Veronica adored the little boy
"ver you picked him up? "
"no way girl  am not a so good  I met him here"i rolled my eyes at her and carried Damian and gave him a peck
"go change baby"
I said making him run into his room
"nw that he is gone, what were you thinking m"
"I wasn't thinking "
"hell yeah you wasn't "
"Vet to know I don't take shit"
"I know girl but you need this job"
"I know but he is a complete ass hole"
"I know girl but.... "
"Can we not talk about this "
She sighs "fine "
"I'm going for an interview tomorrow "
"that's great m,but so you know am dressing you up what time any way "
"9:00"
"great I'll be here"
She said as she stands
