ali was one of my friends from my hometown in california. she usually didn't give good advice but she was someone to talk to. i didn't have many friends in South carolina yet because i had only lived there less than a year. the new move was hard, but the toll it took on my relationship was worse. daniel and i were thought of as the "perfect match" back then but now it's like we are just friends again. i decided to call him.

what the fuck? i was hurt. i felt like i was the only one trying to keep our relationship alive. i wanted him to love me like i loved him but i knew it would be nearly impossible. maybe ali was right. maybe i should end this.
