"Hey there, adventurer!"
I beg your pardon? Rei thought as she raised an eyebrow and turned to the person to see a man wearing an oversized green cape standing a few inches taller than her.

"Greetings." Came her reply.
"Saw ya out there in the hall- you looked so confident! So I was wondering if I could join your party?"
Rei was taken aback. "I'm sorry?"
The man shifted his weight from one leg to another.
"Ah, sorry- should've introduced myself. The name's Yasumi Shirou." Shirou extended a hand for Rei to shake.
Rei hesitantly took his hand and shook it.
"Mochizuki Rei."
Shirou's eyes widened at her name. "Woah, a Mochizuki? As in like, the Mochizuki? The music people? And you're that composer, right?"
Rei fixed her posture once more and smiled proudly. "Yes, I am a Mochizuki, and yes, I am indeed the Ultimate Composer."

Shirou smiled

Shirou smiled. "Wow. I can't believe I'm getting to meet you! Ah, I myself happen to be an Ultimate. The Ultimate DM, or Dungeons Master, if you will. You know DND?"

Rei tilted her head

Rei tilted her head.
"I've never heard of it. What is it?
"What?! Impossible! It's a role-playing game, it's so-"

Shirou was cut off by a loud beeping sound and the lights turning off. Rei winced at the sound and covered her left ear in pain. Shortly after, a single spotlight was turned on and shone on a single statue of a bear.

"Well well well! It seems you have all gathered here pretty quickly! Thank you for that! Though, unfortunately-" The statue narrowed its eyes, "-we have just a bit more things to set up! So feel free to talk amongst yourselves while we finish these last few things! Thank you for your patience!"

The spotlight turned off, plunging the visitors once more into darkness. When the lights turned back on, the statue was no longer there, much to Rei's surprise. In addition to the statue gone, Shirou also appeared to have left. After another quick scan of the room, Rei noticed him making his way to another group of people. Guess she wasn't going to learn what DnD was.

Despite the suggestion to talk to the others, Rei stood still. She wasn't the social type: she would very much rather stay back and observe the others and learn that way. Unfortunately, once again her peace did not last as yet another guy approached her.
