I would have embraced
all your flaws
And make us work together

I would have cheered to your achievements
And cried with you
when things become harder

I would have done
anything and everything 
For my love for you was
as deep as the ocean

But in my world of imagination 
I never had that realization
That as I was dreaming about us 
And dwelling in my illusion 

There you were, cold and distant
