"Why me here?" I asked quickly, then I blushed and tensed up. Daddy taught me not to act like a baby, or I would be made fun of, but I did talk weird sometimes. Liam smiled at me and Colson cooed as he pet my head. I guess it was okay?

"Your our little baby, jake. I'm sure you noticed the childish clothes and items around the house. We will treat you as such, since we purchased you."

I tried to understand the big words he was using, but I always got them mixed up. I looked up at Colson with worry. What if they thought I was dumb or silly for not knowing some words? Then I remembered mommy always told me that asking questions wasn't dumb!

"Huh?"

"Oh! Liam means that we might treat you a little more childishly than your used to. More like a little baby! That's why you're dressed in a onesie and have a pacifier in your hand, sweetheart." I nodded my head as I tried go understand what he said. So, basically I was like a baby? Did that mean I could act like a baby?

"Sorry, I used words too big for you, pumpkin." He sipped his coffee quietly.

"Is okay! I like learning new words." It was true, learning new things was fun. Well, except for school. That was boring.

"Aww, we'll teach you a lot of things." Colson kissed my cheek again and this time I didn't wipe it away. I really liked his kissies, they made me feel proud of myself.

"We do have a few rules for you to learn." Liam said and I looked up with a frown. Rules meant there was punishments if I didn't be good.

"You can't fuss or argue with me or Colson. We only want what's best for you, and I would never let anything dangerous happen to you.
Use your big boy words, we can't help you if we don't understand. Crying and pointing at things is not allowed.
Tell us anything that bothers you or worries you.
Always ask if you aren't sure about something. Questions aren't dumb." He finished listing off the rules and drank his coffee.

"Oh, and don't be afraid to ask for stuff. If you ask nicely, I don't mind spoiling you a little bit.
Call me Daddy and Liam is your Papa" Colson added. I giggled at his words, Papa and Daddy were silly names for vampires.

"Okay. I'll make sure to not break the rules! I'll be super duper good, Daddy!" I told them with a big grin. The rules were all really easy to follow, and I was really good at following rules.

"I'm sure you will, sugar, but you already broke one. You struggled with us after you woke up, remember?" Papa told me as he stood up with me in his arms.

"I'm really sorry, Papa. I was just super scared and I thought you were gonna hurt me! Me never do that again, ever ever!" I apologized and hugged him. He patted my back and rubbed it gently.

"I won't punish you for that. All I need was an apology." He told me and then gave me a smile. I smiled back at him, I'm glad Papa knew why I did it. I felt really sorry too.

"Colson, stop hogging my baby. I haven't gotten to hold him at all." Daddy whined and made grabby hands for me. Papa handed me over to him and I kissed his cheek. He waved at me before leaving the kitchen.

"You hungry, pumpkin?" He asked me as he walked over to the sink and out his cup in. I nodded my head and then remembered I needed to use my big boy words.

"Yes, Daddy. Can I have some snacks, please?" I asked him and he brought me over to a cupboard. He opened it and there was a bunch of snacks inside! Mommy only gave me snacks when I was really good.

"Goldfish, please!" I said as I saw a box in the corner.

"Alright, princess. Let me get you a bowl and some juice."

He set me down on the floor and I realized how big my daddy was. Vampires were always taller than humans, which made them scarier. Everything in the whole house was bigger than me!

"Here you go. Let's watch some tv while Colson does some paperwork." He brought me over to a huge couch and sat down with me in his lap. I held the bowl of goldfish and my drank my juice. He turned on the big tv and started looking for channels.

"We watch princes movies?" I asked him. "Please?"

"Sure." He pet my hair and I turned back to the TV. We ended up watching Sofia the First, which I had never seen before. She had a silly talking rabbit, Clover, who made me laugh a lot.
