An Interview Gone Wrong!

When shen Wei entered the company building, he strolled straight to receptionist.

"Excuse me, madam. I am here for the interview."

He said while extending his invitation card for the interview to the young woman in the reception counter. She received the card to check.

"I am sorry sir, since you didn't appeared in the mentioned time, you aren't eligible to participate in the interview anymore."

Once Shen Wei heard this, his eyes began to fill up. Drops of tears started dripping down from the corners of his eyes (crocodile tears, duh!).

"My sweet young sister (*sniffs*) I became a little bit late cuz I was caught up in a dead serious problem in my way, (*sniffs*) please help me (*sniffs*) this is my very first interview. (*sniffs*) "

The receptionist rolled her eyes. She has seen many such people before, making unbelievable excuses to save their ass. But damn! This beautiful young man is emotionally attacking her with his pleadings. Her every 'such look-alike puppy eyes resistant' walls crumpled to the floor before him. She decided she couldn't see this anymore.

Finally she sighed and made a phone call.

"Okay then. Wait here for a while, someone will come to fetch you up."

" Thank you so much!!"

Shen Wei's eyes sparkled with gratitude and he wiped his (yeah, crocodile) tears. He went around and placed himself in the couch in waiting counter.

A few minutes later, a man in suit approached him.

"You are Shen Wei?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Please follow me. I will show you to CEO's office."

"Okay, thank you."

Shen Wei followed the man who introduced himself as Sang Zan. While walking through the hall, Shen Wei's eyes widened in amazement by the carefully chosen neat interiors of the company.

"Hey." Sang Zan whispered. "Be careful when you face the CEO, okay? Today his mood is no good. I have never seen him so much pissed off before. The other interviewees couldn't last a few minutes before him. Some were even crying when they came out."

Shen Wei listened him with extra sharpened ears. He knitted his eyebrows together.

"Is that so? What is he!? A gorilla or something?"

"No! He is actually a very nice gentleman. Nobody know what happened to him today that angered him this much."

" Anyways, no one got selected yet. That's why you still have a chance." Sang Zan continued.

"Mmhmm." Shen Wei mumbled.

When they reached infront of a particular office, Sang Zan stopped and smiled.

"This is upto where I can accompany you. Good luck young man."
Sang Zan patted his shoulders before he left and Shen Wei nodded a thank you.

Shen Wei turned to face the cabin door. He took a deep breath. He filled his mind with all the (useful) pieces of advice from his twin brother who has much more experience in this field than him and ofcourse from his beloved Google mama.

Breath in.

Breath out.
