John B took them to the Wreck without explaining anything. He just said they needed Kiara.
Isis didn't ask questions. Her and JJ only had eyes for each other.
"She says she's not coming," said Pope coming out of the restaurant.
"Why not?" asked JJ on the passenger seat. "What'd you do to her, John B?"
"Shit!"
"Do you want me to try?" asked Isis, leaning between the seats.
"Non, don't worry Iz, I'll deal with it."
"Whatever happened between you both, just tell her we really need her. I mean, I need her to deal with y'all."
John B nodded and got out of the car. As he entered the Wreck, Isis made some gymnastics to get behind the wheel.
"Wow, your body's kinda flexible," said JJ, watching her settle.
"Don't say that as if you didn't just have my ass in front of your face."
Pope took a seat at the back. He seemed quite upset.
"Is everything okay?" asked Isis softly. "Pope?"
He looked up at her. His lips were pursed, but he nodded anyway.
"Yeah. Everything's fine."
Isis shared a confused glance with JJ. He shrugged.
John B finally came back with Kie. Isis made him a huge smile.
"Do you wanna drive?" he asked her when she was already holding the steering wheel in her hands.
"Yes sir," she replied with a nod.
He shared a look with JJ.
"Sounds good to me," the latter said.
"Oh, you go behind," Isis commanded.
