A/N I'm probably going to put a meme related to An Extremely Goofy Movie, so yeah! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the rewrite!

Your POV

I folded my last shirt and placed it into my (F/C) suitcase, sighing with relief. Finally, finished packing. I put my hands on my hips and looked over at my digital clock on my desk. 4:53. Do I have time to skate before dinner?

I walked my sock-clad feet out of my room and down the stairs, my nose catching a whiff of something that smelled delicious. I followed the smell to the kitchen, where I saw our cook, Aria, was making dinner.

"Hey Aria," I said, sitting on one of the stools by the counter. "Oh! Hello (Y/N), what brings you here?" she asked, stirring something on the stove. "I was just wondering when dinner would be ready, I kinda want to practice my skating before I head off tomorrow," I replied, resting my chin on the palm of my hand.

"Hm... Dinner will probably be finished in around 20 to 25 minutes, which will give you enough time to skate!" she said cheerfully. "Alright, thanks Aria!" I replied, hopping off the stool and heading out of the kitchen. Only to peek back in a moment later.

"Also, what are we having for dinner?" I asked, peeking my head from around the doorframe. Aria smiled at me and replied, "It's a surprise, now, you go have fun!" "Alrighty!" I said, slipping back through the doorframe.

I walked over to the front door and pulled open the closet next to it. Where's my skateboar- Oh, there it is!  I reached in and pulled out my (F/C) skateboard with black wheels. Bradley thankfully didn't use it this time, cause if he did, I wouldn't be seeing it for a long while!

My brother, Bradley, has a tendency to "borrow" my stuff, and then never give it back. Whenever I confronted him about it, he'd play the "I'm the older sibling so I can do what I want" card, which annoyed me to no end!

Thankfully, I'm heading off to college tomorrow, so I hope that I don't have to deal with that anymore.

I slipped into my sneakers and opened the front door. I stepped out, letting the door slam behind me, eyeing the halfpipe in the front yard. I quickly ran over to it, eager to get in one last skating session before having to leave.

I placed my skateboard down and quickly stepped up onto it, smiling at the familiar uneven feeling of the skateboard leaning underneath me. I placed my right foot on the ground and swiftly pushed off, sending me rolling a little up the halfpipe before I turned and rolled back down, picking up momentum.

I did the same thing a few more times before I was really picking up speed. Eventually, I went up the full height of one side of the pipe and balanced the middle of my board on the edge. I kept my arms out on the side of me.

I felt on top of the world there. I felt so serene and calm, even though I was using a lot of my muscles to balance. Though, that moment was short-lived when I heard the annoying voice of my brother. "(Y/N)! What are you doing?" he asked from the doorway.

I rolled my eyes and jumped a little, letting myself roll down the halfpipe before stopping in the middle. "I'm skateboarding, what does it look like?" I asked, annoyed that he had ruined my peace. "Oh! Can I do something?" he asked with an excited smile.

I looked away with a deadpanned expression. If I let him, he might steal my skateboard. But if I don't he's just going to annoy me until I let him or he's going to go tell mom or dad.
