Chapter 10

"Thiswasamistake! Thiswasamistake! Thiswasamistake!" You rushed out over and over as you clung to the closest thing to you which happened to be Sokka as you all dodged left and right harshly. Avoiding any sort of fire balls that were being launched towards you all.

"Secret love cave. Let's go." Sokka muttered leading the way and walking past Chung and his crew. They followed behind you and most of you were silent along the way until you broke the silence.

"How much longer til we get to the tunnel?" You asked Chung.

"It's not actual one tunnel. The lovers wanted to make sure no one knew about it so they built a whole labyrinth of tunnels." Chung replied. Sokka suddenly stopped in his tracks causing you to bump into his back.

"A labyrinth?!" He exclaimed with dread.

"I'm sure we'll figure it out." Chung assured and Sokkas shoulders slumped before continuing forward.

"All you need to do. Is trust in love. According to the curse." Lily spoke causing Sokka to stop dead in his tracks again. You stopped for him.

"Curse?!" He exclaimed.

"How about we don't worry about that for now. We need to get to Omashu, right?" You assured him with a small smile. He tried to remain pouting but couldn't help but send a smile back.

"Alright fine. I'll take your word for it." He replied and you walked alongside him to catch up with the others. Eventually coming across the entrance of the cave.

"Hey! We're here!" Chung exclaimed.

"What exactly is this curse?" Sokka asked.

"The curse says that only those that trust in love can make it through the caves. Otherwise you'll be trapped in them forever." Chung explained.

"And die." Lily added.

"Oh yeah. And die. Hey! I just remembered he rest of the song!" He strummed on the guitar "And Die!" He sung in a low pitch.

"That's it! There's no way we're going through some cursed hole." Sokka exclaimed.

"Hey someone's making a big campfire!" One of Chung's crew pointed out.

"That's Fire nation... Sokka we have no choice but to go through this." You spoke.

"So all we have to do is trust in love?" Aang asked Chung.

"That's correct master arrow head."

"...We can make it."

"Everyone into the hole!" Sokka commanded. And everyone followed suit. Appa being a little anxious about it. But soon had every right to as the entrance closed on you all. Appa turned and tried clawing his way out and Katara went over to comfort the beast.

"It's okay Appa. We'll make it out of here. I hope..." Katara muttered.

"We'll be fine. All we need is a plan. Chung how long to those torches last?" Sokka asked.
