I rushed back inside the orphanage, I was easily convinced by the woman. She calls herself a witch. I think I'm going insane! I rushed to Sister Judy-Annè's office,

"Sister! I need to go!", she was startled by my loud voice,

"Dear Lord, Sister Gabriel! What happened to you?Why do you need to go?", I explained to her every detail that happened, and she was lost for words, I think she won't believe me.

"A golden figure of cherubim sit above the Ark of the Covenant, where God promised to dwell among his people...", she whispered, that was a bible verse. She held my hand, shaking,

"I will help you pack your things, let's go...", she pulled me to our shared room, and took my suitcase as I folded my clothes. I can't believe I'm leaving everything...I'm like leaving who I am. This night changed my life forever.

Sister Judy-Annè zipped my bag and guided me downstairs, I gripped her hand. We went outside and saw the woman that I saw earlier, Myrtle.

"Come on, let's go...", she pulled me. I rushed to hug Sister Judy-Annè, crying on her arms. She hugged me back, eyes swelling becaus of the tears,

"Please...Keep her safe...", She told Myrtle who nodded, she slowly pulled me.

"Thank You for everything...I won't forget you.", she handed me her locket. I went inside the car and waved goodbye to her, tears streaming down my face. I will miss her. She was the first person that I met here.

flashback

"Please leave me alone...", I heard someone crying, I followed the direction of the sound and saw a kid about my age. I was 11 years old that time, I saw kids teasing her around, calling her names. I marched towards their direction,

"That's bad! Sister Miranda told us to love our neighbours as we love ourselves.", I told the children, they suddenly stopped and stared at me,

"Whatever...", then they all left. I knelt to the girl's level, she hugged her knees, shaking. I guided her to stand up and offered a hand,

"Hi! My name is Gabriel! Nice to meet you!", I smiled at her, she smiled back and shook my hand too,

"My name is Judy-Annè.... I'm sorry if it's long. I don't have a nickname."

"Don't worry, Judy-Annè! From now on, we will watch each other's back, and from now on...Were going to be best friends, okay?", we laughed at each other and pinky sweared,

"We will never leave each other..."

We will never leave each other. The sentence kept on ringing on my ear over and over. I opened the locket and saw our picture pushing each other at the swing. We were so happy together, and now...were sad together.

I slowly closed my eyes, drifting to sleep.

I was in a dark place, no sign of light. It was like an empty space, nowhere to go. I ran and ran for so many times, but I still stayed in darkness. But then a flash of light appeared before me, I fell down to the ground, using my hand as protection from the blinding light.

When I removed my hand from my eyes, I was in a different place, I'm no longer in the void. It was like heaven. Literally. I saw a huge gate in front of me, but it was locked. Then I heard the same voice again,

"Remember who you are."

Then I fell back in the darkness, I saw a man...no, it's not a man...He has a white face...So, evil...So, dark...So....Demonic. Then he said something short, yet so powerful,
