I woke up on the couch holding my neck as it ached because of the uncomfortable place I went I to the shower and just wore a hoodie and sweats I decided to stay in the guest room and put all my things in there a while later I got a face time call from jazlyn which I answered

"hey I didn't want to rush you with talking to me but I was worried" she says

"don't worry it's fine" I say fake smiling

"how did things go with you and Bryce?" Peter asks sticking his head in the camera

"we talked and uhm got in an argument" I say

"he shouldn't even be asking you that how's your father" jazlyn says rolling his eyes at Peters stupidity

"oh yea I forgot about that sorry" Peter says eating his donut jazlyn gets frustrated and knocks it out of his hand making Peter pout earning a stiffle laugh from me

"he isn't awake yet they can't tell but its not looking good" I say frowning at the memory of my dad on the hospital bed lifeless as colour drained his body

"I'm sorry" jazlyn says looking down

"it's cool" I say fake smiling Peter walks away as the enter the studio I'm guessing to put his bag down giving jazlyn the time to ask me about things he didn't know

"have you ate... You didn't eat yesterday this will be the fifth day if you haven't" jazlyn says

"yea I have" I lie but I wasn't looking at the screen so she couldn't tell

"that's great ill check on you after dance practice okay, bye" jazlyn says hanging up the phone i sigh and put my hand under my shirt seeing how skinny I become

"Bryce told me what happened WHAT THE FUCK EV YOU CANT COME INTO PEOPLE HOUSE AND DISRESPECT LIKE THAT" Georgia shouts walking closer to me but I avoid eye contact

"NEWS FLASH JUST BECAUSE THINGS ARE HARD ON YOU DOESN'T MEAN YOU GET TO TAKE IT OUT ON PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOU" Georgia shouts making me flinch slightly

"not everything is about you ass hole" Georgia says this isn't even her fight why is she wasting her time

"when have I ever made it about me?" I ask confused Georgia stays silent and just walks out of the the room but I stop her before she leaves grabbing her arm and pulling her back into the room

"no don't walk of on this when have I ever made it about you me?" I ask Georgia sighs and rolls her eyes once again

"Look I wasn't there okay so I don't know what happened-"

"then why will you come in here and start selling at me when you don't even know why?" I ask getting slightly frustrated

"because that's what Bryce told me" Georgia says

"and what Bryce always tell the the truth now?" I ask

"because you always act like your a victim and your not things get hard for other people too" Georgia says

"my dad is lifeless in a hospital bed I have up my dream because my friend wouldn't talk to me i came back and I only made shit worse for myself so please leave me alone okay you know in our friendship group I never had the spotlight but I atleast deserve respect because I know for a fact If this happened to Bryce you wouldn't be yelling at him you would be comforting him"i say

"it's my father too Evie" Georgia says

"you didn't even know him the way I do and your clearly not hurting" I say

"but you made Bryce-"

"it's not about Bryce it's about helping our friends" Georgia says

"I'm your sister isn't that enough?" I say

"no it's not I just wish you weren't born dad shouldn't have been hurt it should've been you" Georgia's says about to walk out

"that's really low.. Even for you" I say georgia turn around and throws a fist colliding with my jaw making me fall to the ground georgia has always been stronger than me but she's never used it against me I backed away trying to avoid her but my back hit a wall

"I HATE YOU" she shouts kicking me I curl in a ball trying to shield myself she keeps kicking and kicks my face, throwing my head at the wall causing Me to scream filling a familiar metallic taste in my mouth she walks out acting like nothing happened I cried for awhile and then went downstairs to clean myself up I grabbed frozen peas I saw jaden with a blunt in his mouth I took it from him and inhealed returning it after

"you okay you put blood on my joint?" jaden asks in the corner of my eye Georgia was smirking looking at me

"the idiot fell down the stairs earlier" she says in a joking tone and I nod

"mhm" I say kio looks at me confused I walked away from them all and went into the bathroom to clean my cuts and bruises someone walks in and I turn to see Anthony

"hey..." Anthony says smiling weakly

"hi" I say quietly

"gonna tell me what actually happened" Anthony asked grabbing the cloth from my hand and pulling me up to the counter so we were at the same level about to clean my bruises for me

"I fell of the stairs-"

"Evie you don't look like that even when you fall of a cliff... I heard your argument with georg earlier and heard a scream a while later" Anthony says sighing

"I... She... We're fine now" I say smiling

"Evie-"

"no she's just teaching me how to be a strong woman you know? How to not accept shit from anyone it's just a bit of discipline" I say quietly

"there's a nine month age difference... Look no matter what you did you do t deserve to be hurt you need someone to hold you and reassure you and tell you it wasn't your fault or that it'll be okay not someone who kicks you till you cough up blood" Anthony says

"I'm fine okay" I say avoiding eye contact

"no your not why Don't you tell-"

"because I don't deserve it okay can we just drop it with the sappy shit" I say raising my voice a bit with tears welling in my eyes as my voice cracked anthiny wraps his arms around me

"I'm sorry whatever happened you deserve way better than this I have no clue how you do what ever it is but everyone knows your the best for them" Anthony says
