Just Drive:Ride

Tom waited for the lads to come to the restaurant at the back of the building where the show took place.It also had a huge swimming pool and a bar right next to it.They had asked him to join them after the show was over,to celebrate.He was still tapping his feet to the song stuck in his head,when they come back in with a few fans still crowding around them.

"Tom!"Joe running over to Tom and giving him a big hug.

"Hey!",Tom says."You guys rocked man."

"Thanks,thanks."

The others followed close by,each fist bumping and hugging Tom as he congratulated them.All of them were speaking at the same time thrilled,making their way over to a table and placing their orders.

"How was it?"

"Fabulous"

"I can't wait for the food."

"Dude,did you see my solo?"

"It was great."

"I'm starving."

"The lights were awesome,by the way."

"I know right"

"Food and drinks are free on the day of the show",says Andy,sitting down."Do you wanna drink?"

"Nah,I'm good."

"Y/n!",Joe shouts."Over here"waving to get her attention.

Tom turns to look.Y/n who was thanking and saying goodbye to her  fans, smiles widely and waves as she sees them.That smile soon disappears momentarily  when she spots Tom's face at the table.

Oh no,she thought.She thanks the last of the people who came to congratulate her and slowly makes her way towards the table.Her bag was swinging from one of her shoulders and she had taken her over sized denim jacket off.

"Sit down,please",Andy says,being the gentleman he is.Y/n takes the only empty seat next to Tom and sets her bag on the floor as  Joe introduces her to Tom

"Tom,meet star of the evening,y/n.Y/n this is Tom"

They face each other.Tom smiles weakly,saying nothing.She smiles back forcibly,nodding.She shifts uncomfortably and glares at Joe,tapping on her watch.

"Five minutes.",he promises.The food arrives and soon they were  all busy digging in and passing the food and drinks.They were talking about nothing in general,but all the while having joking.Everyone was talking over everyone else,but Tom was being uncharacteristically quiet as time went on.

"Can you pass me that chicken,please?"

"You should finish that"

"Try this,It's good."

"You want that?",Y/n,as she passes the dish to Andy."Here"

"When are we opening this?",Luke asks,pointing to the beers.

"My drumsticks broke during the damn concert."

Tom looks over at y/n as she giggles at the funny banter between them.They hadn't spoke a word to each other.

"Yeah,I was like oh my god."

"You just wanted to take off"

~time skip to 20 minutes~

They're drunk and in the swimming pool,splashing around.Tom and y/n were the only ones at the table.Tom was laughing at the wasted idiots in the pool,y/n takes a quick glance at Tom without being too obvious and looks away before he brings his eyes back.He's keeps staring at his hands on the table,never bringing them up to face her.
