Rookie's POV

I was in my room, on board the MCS James Macallan, I just turned off my log and left it on a table, I got out of bed to see the planet Typhon through the window from afar, I just sighed, I don't have a good feeling of what is going to happen there. The only good thing is that there's no civilian precence on that planet. That planet is controlled by the IMC, according to what I heard from Briggs, we were going to attack it without mercy. While I was looking out the window, there was a loud knock on my door that surprised me.

Militia Grunt: "Hey! Rookie! Stop wasting time there and come out! Stupid bastard.." -He retired from the door-

I have already been insulted and threatened many times, this is just another one on the list. I took my helmet off the bed and put it on. I was about to leave but first I looked in the mirror.

I nodded in approval, walked towards the door and opened it pulling it, before I could continue I could notice a note, it seemed a common note but if you touch it you can feel that it is glass. I Look at the note: "Your luck ends here Rookie, you will not survive this"

I heard a group laughing, looked down the hall to the right, and visualized a group of male and female pilots laughing at me. I didn't want trouble so I just left the room and closed the door behind me. Unfortunately the armory and my titan were on the right, I walked down the hall towards the group, carefully passed by the group, I felt a strong push that almost made me fall to the ground.

Male Pilot: "Watch where you go!"

Rookie: "S-Sorry.."

I quickened my pace by escaping them, they kept laughing.

Female Pilot: "Come on! Run for your mommy"

I don't like my mother being involved in this. But there was nothing I could do against them. I walked away from them walking towards the armory while some soldiers and pilots ran or walked past me.

I grabbed an R-101C Carbine alongside a P2020, placed the P2020 in the pistol holster on my right thigh, held my carbine in my right hand while making sure my grappling hook was on my left wrist. And yes, it was. I took some fragmentation grenades and retired from the armory, I went to the hangars where Captain Lastimosa was supposed to be. In the background I saw him, it looked like he was training a rifleman to be a pilot. I walked over to them and introduced myself firmly. The captain noticed me and smiled, I am already knowing why everyone here likes Lastimosa, he did not greet, he just brought his open hand forward expecting a handshake, I did not make him wait and shook his hand.
